Seriously?  It’s. a. basketball. game!  Keep it clean, but c’mon.  The kids have fun, it makes for a good atmosphere.  You want them to sit on their hands?  Maybe fans should not be allowed to cheer at all, certainly not when an opposing players miss a shot.  That would be demeaning and might really hurt someone’s self esteem.  High school athletes can handle a little good natured heckling without the fun police having to step in.  Good grief.

The job didn’t post until March 19 according to the BISD site.  I assume there will be nothing official until late next week at the earliest. 

Is West Brook's ability to compete is 6A really any less than Nederland's ability to compete in 5A?  Neither is winning a state championship next year but WB probably has more returning talent top to bottom.

West Brook moves to 20-3.  Much improved since last year. 

The refs called a good game.  One of the better games I've seen around here lately.  Certainly didn't affect the outcome or the margin.  But I guess there's always a clown who has to bring up the officiating. 

Give credit to Ozen.  They had a good game plan and executed it well.  WB will be ok but has some things to clean up, especially on offense.

Yep, and years ago used to play at the Montagne center twice a year and drew good crowds.  Back when they were in the same district. 

I agree with you on the apology but think it should be a private apology, face to face with the young man who was hit and his family.  A public one is fine, but the public isn't who was injured here.
