To some extent, that is true.  21-5A and 22-5A, were unavailable after Week 2.  West Brook unavailable shortly afterward.  However, there were schools, some of which are in this area and at least the same size as WO-S who flat out refused for some pretty strange reasons.

If I may interrupt the back and forth banter for a moment, I would like to officially be the first to say that Liberty will go 4 rounds deep this year and I truly think they have the potential to do so just from what I have seen so far! I will be there Friday night!

PNG and Nederland have both scheduled WOS. We lost a non-district game this year when they threw in Livingston at the last minute, knocking us down to two pre-district games (Silsbee and GCM) so that screwed us out of our week three matchup with the Stangs. Great games the two years before and I'm sure we will get them back if available down the road. 
Would've loved to have seen a WOS vs PAM matchup this year. Would've benefited both teams down the road.  

i agree completely. What stops the larger classification schools from scheduling WOS? Is it because if they win people will say they're suppose to because they are larger? and if they lose it looks bad losing to a smaller classified school even if its wos so its lose lose? or what's the deal with that

I can't wait for this Friday lol still a lot of great regular season football to be played, unless your WOS I guess you start every season just waiting for the playoffs

Nah we like the regular season also....just boring in district most seasons, but not next Friday!!!!

In the Celina vs Community highlight which can be found on Max Preps. You can view a clip which at the 1:38 mark clearly shows the Celina Qb (Pingleton) walk over to the pile and stomp on an opposing players ankle by placing all of his weight on it. The Community player tries to get up but is in too much pain to do so and when I saw the video my mouth dropped that he would even do something like that. What is worse is the Celina faithful on Fox Sports Friday Football app that are actually trying to blow it off and that is down right sad. I hope the UIL gets a hold of the video and sends out a message that intentionally hurting another player is not to be taken lightly. What was he thinking and why did he do it?

WOS , Newton both go to at least the 4th round..... don't know enough about 4A D1 to make any predictions on Silsbee but I hear they have some studs on offense, would like to see them represent for setx and go 2 or 3 rounds deep, same for PAM but I hear 5A can get real tough real quick with schools like Manvel out there, IDK how soon they would meet up 

Yep, but that last victory was the sweetest and you get to hear about it for an entire year 

23 5A runner ups pose NO threat to PAM. i want to say that would be Ball and FB Marshall or Texas City. Also those teams would have to get by Houston Madison, who is undefeated. you are right. looks like Manvel would be 4th rd for PAM

IF we played Manvel, should be 3rd rd. 2nd rd is usually some inner city houston school

First place in District 11 would have to face WOS in the Third round (if they make it that far) Second place in both district 11 or 12 would have to face WOS in the fourth round (if they make it that far).

you are right, but Tarkington scored 14 on us with that barnyard offense.. I think it's more of when we are up by a few scores they get those TD's in garbage time so if this actually ends up being a close game, you could expect a 28-21 type game because of the styles of offense, those 56-21 scores are coming from fans who are predicting a blow out, we get up 35-0 and let off the gas and they score 2 or 3 making it 56-21. If this game isn't a blowout, the score wont look that high it would look closer to our Shepherd game score 20 something to 20 something, but if we do get up by quite a few early, that's where I see it being 42-21 and other fans saying things like 56-21 and so on and so forth.. but if it's a close game you won't see a 56-45 type of score board with these offenses youll something in the 20's from each side

I agree Gunho.  Region III is strangely down this year for the first time in recent memory.  Who knows though.  Can't get complacent!
 
Region IV is gonna be a dogfight between Cuero, Navarro, Wharton, Wimberley and despite the whooping last week you can't count Sinton out just yet.  Every possible thing that could go wrong did in that game.
 
Liberty gets a mention as one of three teams to watch on the DCTF live show today... six minutes and ten seconds in.  They got the classification wrong though lol.

The fact that Tarkington gave up 20 points to Royal isn't a good sign at all. I was at the Bellville vs Royal game ... And let's just say Royal might have crossed the 50 2-3 times all game.

This is what Liberty looks like, this is what we usually look like, it's just amazing what a little coaching can do. Coach Taylor is building a program. Taylor is from Liberty, it took exactly that for us to be successful, someone who knows the ins and outs of the town and the politics behind it all. We never get bonds passed we never get our facilities upgraded, we never go and pay a lot of money for a good HC, but bringing in this home town guy was the perfect move. He knows what he has and doesn't have and knows what to expect from the community. No complaints, just getting the job done with what he have finally, and we always have talent, now we have coaches that know what to do with that talent.
