I truly believe everything u said.i would luv to see everyone succeed.but, all I see is the same thing we saw a Nederland last year. Just confusion.this system has been in place since 1980/1981. And it has proven that it works.NO ur not gonna win every state title but at least it gives u a shot!! And now u change the whole defense and offense.ik both sides of the ball has learning curves.but, at the same time u hire an inexperienced coach.i truly believe that we have bitten off more than we can chew.

I was hoping after all the confusion in LCM game they would have something figured out.but, now totally confused.like the first possession of the game ur in man to man.shaw gets the int easily.then u started trying to show them different schemes.ur not confusing them.ur getting ur team out of position.and it's bad when the LBS not leading the team in tackles.there guessing.w.o isn't gonna win a state title every year.but at least they could give themselves an opportunity.i don't see it.

But,the difference is u ran the 50 defense.and at least the kids could adjust.there not understanding this defense and its the LBS out the game.take for instance in the 4th.they ran play action and #19 there best wr was left all alone.no one knew who was supposed to be covering him.unless they got back to the 50 it maybe a long season for us.doesnt matter how much talent u have.if u don't have the coaching to go with it.

I would hate to see anyone lose there job. But, when the last time w.o gave up 32 and 27 in back to back weeks!! And to make matters worse your safety is leading the team in tackles. Incase ppl don't know #8 and #9 are the LBS. And I feel so bad for them. Bcz,they started last year.and now they're not adjusting to this new defense.

If ur watching the game.u would know w.o has no clue on defense.since the early 80's all anyone knew was the 50 defense.and now u got kids at w.o running around not knowing where the football is.png has a new coach but I will assure they didn't change whole offense and defense.w.o will be forever 50 defense.and u have given up this many points in back to back weeks is an embarrassing!! No. The problem is coaching !! W.o is trying to run this 4-2-5.its not gonna work.the LBS are confused.they still looking to the sideline for a call.horrible coaching on both side of the ball.coaching !! I thought as the year goes on they would get use to this.totally out coached

3 things that should help. That u didn't mention.1 w.o has better CBs than lcm.and there long.lcm didn't really complete but a couple passes on them.but,one was a TD in the dB misjudged the ball. And there other score was on the safety who was looking at the sideline for the defensive call.so with the 2 wrs png has want have a big nite.BU kids tried but they're horrible!! Hopefully they get better.and w.o will be the faster team. So if they get back to shooting gaps out this defense.puts alot pressure on there qb.the kid from png has a descent arm. But pressure busts a pipe!! If png can do what lcm did were in for a great game.play action,and mis direction short throws to keep the defense honest and more importantly find a running game.

It is fact!! 0-3. But, beating w.o is the goal.yall will never win a state title then.the goal is to play for 16 weeks. And Silsbee hasn't done that yet. So, I'll take a state title over a regular win.

U are absolutely correct. We're lucky this is a very talented team but when ur not use to doing something that u have been doing ur whole life.and change it in a couple months.just hope they can iron it all out bf playoffs.but one there strengths that allows them to learn this new defense is shaw and Jones at CBs are tremendous.that what's really helping them.

They only had abt 240 yds of offense.had a short field to work with. A few times.

Yes it would have if u knew how w.o ran it.its designed to put pressure off the edge with speed.more pressure on the QB.to read and react.but, LCM play calling was great the whole game.and tackling and penalties w.o has to get better at.u can't have abt 100yds in penalties and expect to beat gud teams.they got lucky to get away with them against LCM.

Great point.but,w.o want give up 20 points a game.LCM did a great job of play calling against us.w.o coaches has to do a better job of getting these kids lined up properly.bcz a couple of times like in the Nederland game the kids got caught looking to the sideline for a call while the play started.they just need to man up across the board.what makes this team great is the CB s.teams will struggle throwing at them.as the season goes on they will only get better.
