1. None of it matters. Just get it done on the field.
2.

WOS won't win by 30+, they will win by 28. WOS 35 HJ    7
CORRECTION: WOS 35 HJ 6 Hawks can't kick extra points
You're right, but I'll say WO-S 36 - HJ 6.
3. Might be a rainy evening at Dan R. Hooks Stadium this Friday. Mustangs have found a couple different ways now to run their offense. Can you say Power-I formation, with a 6'2" 235lbs running back! Nice addition for the 'Stangs when needed. WO-S by 30+ points. Regardless of the weather.
4. I know what the problem is here.. the BC folks are just jealous; we have a BIGGER flag!!! lol
5.
im just curious about this one... why is it allowed for WOS to have their flag runner to run straight to the middle of the field and wave their flag for about 5 minutes and to just stand there until the teams are ready to come onto the field? to me this is very disrespectful
It's all part of HS Football in Texas...Big Flag, and Big Football games. No disrespect to BC, it's just something WO-S has done for years now.
6.
Not this year. The rungs on the WO-S ladder are still solid for at least the next 5 years. Go 'Stangs!
You do know if yall happened to get by BC this year yall are gonna lose the next two years? You think Menard and Dishon are good now just wait till they're juniors and seniors... As for tonight WO-S 21 BC 27
Put the pipe down, and stop smokin' that stuff! No-way BC wins. They've never beaten West Orange or West Orange-Stark. Ain't gonna happen tonight! Go 'Stangs!

8. Carthage has played some less than inspired football on a couple of occasions this season, ie.the Henderson game. If they don't show up on Friday like their capable...then Jasper pulls off another upset of a top 5 team! Jasper 21 vs. Carthage 18.
9. Wow... BC has a C+ defense at best; their not even close to being in the same category as the WO-S defensive unit. Way too much WO-S this year for the Cards. Best of luck to both squads! Go 'Stangs!!!
10. As I predicted, SHS had a bit of a let down against BC, but survived. Orangefield will hang around for a while, but the Tigers will be way to much to handle... 35 - 17 Tigers.
11. Not close at all... WO-S has committed themselves to this season FINALLY! I usually don't predict scores, but is this case I will make an exception: WO-S 35 vs. BC 10.
12. You're right. It's the nature of this board to somehow find the worst in most unfortunate situations. I didn't even want to make a comment, but I'm tired of the constant sarcasm and verbal abuse that these KIDS and their families do not deserve. Hey you adults out there, go and find a more useful way to spend you time!!
13. No worries RIOT. The WO-S alumni / fans alike know the truth. The boys will be there come playoff time. Count on it!
14. As Dan R. Hooks stated lastnight at the Homecoming Parade, "Yeah we're 4-2, but there's a lot of teams that would like to be in the same boat as us, at this point in the season." He went on to say, "We made some crucial mistakes last week (referring to the Silsbee game) but we're fixing those mistakes, and I don't look for them to happen again. This is a super group of kids you fans can count on will be there come playoff time!" Enough said. 8)
15. Wos is and has been losing. I believe their closer to 2a than 4a Actually WO-S is gaining in enrollment. From the start of the 09 school year they've increased by + 62 students. The number of students at the high school is at 738 (roughly). WO-S will remain in 3A.
16. Look for the Tigers to have a bit of let down against BC, coming off of such an emotional victory against WO-S. It's hard not to think the Tigers WILL come out a little flat. That may just be the edge BC is looking for...of course, everyone plays WO-S and Silsbee like it's their "State Championship" throughout the district!!! I look for BC to make this one a lot closer than most Silsbee folks think... Best of luck to both squads.
17. You're right COOP. However, after speaking with several players on Monday, there's no ONE player taking blame or pointing fingers, the TEAM is to blame and they are all fully aware of the situation. Things are changing for the betterment of the team as of this past Saturday morning as the kids/coaches watched playback of the game. Believe you me, coaches and players alike are moving forward and are working hard towards getting better come playoff time!!!
18. So braggadocios AAW... The Silsbee QB didn't "kneed" the 'Stangs all night. Granted, he had his moments, but 13 points scored against an outstanding Mustang "D' is nothing spectacular. Best of luck to both squads from here on out. 8)
19. Not sure..if ever? On a dry field, probally never. Under the circumstances, more than likely the first time! Very disappointing performace from both teams. I wanted to see more from the WO-S offense after last weeks performace against BR. Wanted to see more out of Silsbee as well. Man! I wish the weather would have coroperated!!!! >
20. Exactly GAS, excellent post. Both teams had to deal with the sloppy field. Both had poor performances overall. Dropped passes miscues, bad/low snaps, horrible special teams play, and whatever else you can think of, this game had it. The better team won lastnight. This will be another tough lesson learned for this group of Mustangs... Gotta get it together and play Mustang Football---like I know they can! Go 'Stangs! ;D
21. Can't beat Jenny's fried chicken Worth the drive to Kirbyville for a Wildcats game! Darn good stuff! Got a camp on Cowcreek...go everytime we're there!
22. What? Just moved a few players around no big deal,. Moved some key players to key postions, and you could see the results pay-off big time from the 2nd quarter on at the Brookshire Royal game! I look for the 'Stangs excellent play on both sides of the ball to carry over at Silsbee. 'Stangs too much for the Tigers this year. WO-S by 2 TD's.
23. Good things come in "Threes"! Let's ad one more victory for the hat-trick Mustangs! Lookin' forward to a good ballgame under the Friday Night Lights!
24. Big difference here for the Mustang offense...the much improved play of their offense, especially the o-line. No bad snaps or stupid penalties! Way to go 'Stangs! The defense held a very athletic Royal offense in check all night. This was SO good to see! Great job men, great job! ;D
