Having EC on the schedule by choice. Not something that would have likely occurred in the past. Pretty admirable and shows the improvement they have made. Win, lose, or draw it's nice to see.

You of course figured they didn't opt up this cycle. However, for non-district it appears they decided to "opt down." Yep, I'm being a backside of human anatomy.

When might we start hearing about non-district schedules?

If the young man is a good student, Vanderbilt is the place to go. Not a fan of the political leanings of the institution, but a Vandrrbilt degree i a quality field can set him up really well.

His statement may have been a bit foolish, but he was enrolled in Fall classes. He would not have bern eligible otherwise. He should have bern more clear about not being enrolled for the upcoming spring semester. The norm is 9 hours for a graduate student. Not sure if the hour requirement would be lower if graduate at the doctoral level which I assume would be an extreme rarity for a collegiate athlete.

Spent 1 year there in the mid 90's. Several coaches claimed and I think it was a bit of hyperbole, but the claim was the school had 18 ADs in the previuos 20 years. True or not, the fact it was spoken at all was not a good thing.

I am biased toward the FCS, but that was the most fun game I have watched this season.
