  1. OK try this link - [Hidden Content] If it doesn't work, go to the UIl web site, look up Athletics, pick fall sports and football, and look for 3A DIV 1 and 3A DIV 2 at the top of the page. This shows the brackets - Right now they are totally empty, but they DO have the District alignments on them. We'll have to wait to fill in the blanks. PS - I tried the link - IT WORKS. Look for 3A DIV 1 and 3A DIV 2 at the top of the page, and click on the link. 8)
  2. True quarterback OR athlete? QB - Andre Bevil Athlete who takes the snap - Johnny Dishon
  3. Basketball will be REAL tough for BC this year, boys AND girls. This new District may actually be tougher in B-ball than football! On a positive note, BC HAS started a Little Dribblers program - FINALLY! It can only help our athletes as they mature and grow in the game. It will give them an opportunity to play more, against better teams, with the formulation of All=Stars and extended seasons. But it will take a few years before we are ready to compete with a bunch of you guys.
  4. You're welcome! And sorry things turned out the way they did between us - You have a great group of seniors that I would have loved to have seen advance into the playoffs on their final go-round. I guess you guys will make it up in basketball.
  5. Updated for the last time  . There will be a play-off for 2nd and 3rd between BC and HF. OK - I guess I'll post an update when I find out about the play-off game location, time, etc.
  6. OH! I thought he meant 2nd in a row, in two weeks - You know, BC the 1st week, Silsbee the 2nd week.
  7. See - There's the mistake! They SHOULD have beaten BC 2 years ago' date=' and 1 year ago, but, but, but, THEY DIDN'T! All-time series information (info STOLEN from another poster on another board  ) YEAR BC Kv Series 1956 00 38.......0-1 K'ville 1960 14 20.......0-2 K'ville 1961 26 00.......1-2 K'ville 1992 21 07.......2-2 TIED 1993 33 12.......3-2 Bridge City 2000 42 09.......4-2 Bridge City 2001 22 00.......5-2 Bridge City 2004 30 14.......6-2 Bridge City 2005 40 12.......7-2 Bridge City BC makes the series 8-2!
  8. 21AAA - Silsbee has clinhed 1st. BC and HF are currently tied for 2nd, providing they both win out. I have no idea how they will resolve the tie, if they ARE indeed tied - I know their records are the same, but I don't know if the BC loss to OF vs the HF sweep of OF makes a difference, as well as the BC win over Silsbee and the Silsbee sweep over HF. :? My head hurts! I'll let you know if I find anything out.
  9. I saw Jasper @ BC, LC-M @ WO-S........... Supposedly, the Jasper QB @ BC was new - Not the kid who'd been in there all year - Very youg (Soph?), much beter suited for running the spread. Good athlete, prety good arm and accuracy, but NEW. If he gets to keep working on reads and builds a little confidence, Jasper could win out. Yeah, yeah, yeah - I said COULD! Not WOULD! OK - back to topic - If the Jasper QB matures quickly, Jasper could give WO-S a decent game. But I believe in the end (2nd half), WO-S pulls away - far away. So, with all of that: Tie or Jasper lead at half, with WO-S winning by 28. NEXT YEAR, Jasper will be back for vengeance - They won't forget this season, you can bet!
  10. Looks like the stage is set for a showdown for a chance at the play-offs. This will be a very important game for the Cardinals' date=' and pretty significnat for the Wildcats. After tonight, Silsbee, BC and Kirbyville are all knotted up at 3-1 in District play. BC still has Kville, HF and WO-S. Kville still has Silsbee, BC, and HF. Silsbee has HJ, Kville, and Jasper. It's going to get (read following with a fake Greman accent, please, AKA Sgt. Schultz) [b']VE-E-DY EENTURESTING now!
  11. Congrats to both teams on a great game, and as far as I know, NO INJURIES! I saw Ramsey hanging his right arm after a tackle on a kick return (Stringer down the sideline to about the 50), and he looked like his throws were off after that. Hope he is OK! BC defense did a good job tonight. I looked for OF to throw more than they did - it looked like the flats were open all night. Great job running the ball inside most of the night, too. But when it really started to count, the BC "D" stepped up and made some important plays and tackles to keep us in the game. The pass coverage was better than I expected - Thank goodness! My hat's off to the Bobcats - They played hard down to the last play, as always! You guys have heart, no doubt! I BELIEVE!
  12. "every Dog has his day" and this was Jasper's! Congrats on breaking that barrier. With a boost of confidence, I look for the Dogs to be a different team from here on out. And next year? WHEW!
  13. Bridge CIty over Orangefield in 4. Sets up a tie for 2nd between BC and HF, assuming both teams win out on Tuesday.
  14. My last prediction before the game .............. The weather will be cool, the gumbo will be hot, the stands will be full, and someone will take "Buzzie Gunn" home! Hope everyone gets there safe, and goes home the same way! To both the CARDINALS and the BOBCATS - Good luck and play injury free.
  15. How about this ........ "The thread where everybody makes fun of kvilleballa' date=' but he's not smart enough to get it" :?:[/b']
  16. I'm going to be really, really mad at kvilleballa   just kidding, dude!
  17. I dunno! I think the 1st, second, etc is the order of the SeTxSports top 25, and the numbers at the end are the Massey numbers. Check out their web site at www.masseyratings.com .
  18. Oh, O K :!: It's your position in the overall ranking in the State of Texas, comparring ALL of the teams from ALL clasifications, including TAPPS and 6-man.
