  1. Talked to someone who was at the game - Siad Orangefield appeared to have an off night. Is that true (not an opening for an excuse), or is Kirbyville THAT good? If KV is THAT good, and WO-S dismantled them like they did, do we really have to play WO-S :?:
  2. I think WO-S will win, but after seeing Silsbee, if ANYBODY has a chance of handing WO-S their first 3A District loss, it's Silsbee. If Silsbee has the right gameplan, it COULD be a very good game. If Silsbee plays like it appears they played tonight, well, If Silsbee plays like it appeard they played PN-G, they have a shot. WO-S by 6
  3. Congrats on a good game, Dawgs. The guys played hard, and looked scary (for the opponents) at times. These guys are gonne be tough in the near future. Jasper took the 2nd half kick, and drove it down and scored. They made BC punt, and took the next drive a long way to score. 2 great drives in a row - Man was I getting worried! Then a great punt by BC set Jasper up on the 1 1/2 yd line, which ended in the safety. BC took the safety kick, drove down and scored to make the difference. But Jasper had a HECK of a 2-minute drill down the field with about 1 1/2 minutes left. The drive was more or less killed on a holding call on 1st down, making it 1st and 20. Jasper fans, hang in there! They future looks bright!
  4. Time's almost up! Any last minute predictions?
  5. I may be alittle late in the day with this, but ....... JASPER FANS AND PLAYERS - Have a safe trip. May everyone go home the way came. Here's to good GAME! Ya'll be careful.
  6. I STILL think BC has a shot at the play-offs. I know these kids, and they haven't put it all together yet. When the get past the youth and varsity inexperience, compounded by injury and the "revolving door" line-up we've had, they'll make a showing (I hope). WO-S Silsbee BC
  7. Congrats from south of FM105! He's having a great year, and I hope it continues for all but one game
  8. Craduer may be an excellent coach, but I could do what he has done so far this year! I mean, come on, these kids haven't lost a game since PeeWee football, so how much coaching does it take? All ANYONE would need at Lumberton this year is Commercial Driver's Liscense! OK - I just couldn't resist  . I truly believe Craduer is a good coach, but only time, like 20 seasons or so, will tell. In the meantime, it's Barbay and Hooks. Also worth mentioning is Lucky Gamble, as far as results go.
  9. We're cool' date=' then I HONESTLY believe the lack of success has been from the "swinging door" line-up we've had. It's very hard to be consistent when the guy lining up next to you tonight IS NOT the same guy who lined up next to you last week OR the week before! Having Dishon injured should not have been a hinderance. If [b']I was the coach (Thank God I'm not!!!), Dishon would be a decoy for the surrounding cast of players. "Everyone wants to key on Dishon?" "OK - Let 'em! Give the ball to the tailback. Run a counter. Fake to Dishon and go with mis-direction." etc etc etc
  10. In the opening week of District play, Vidor upset Nederland. In the second week, LC-M upset PN-G. Who goes down this week?
