I was just trying to stir the pot a little

I was more or less just talking to the guy who said that we haven't (and won't ever) beat Newton.  I might have taken a few poetic liberties in my description, lol.

I think the Eagles would be good for you. You could give them a test run at Lumberton during that three way scrimmage. LOL

Didn't do this to argue with anyone, just trying to get a discussion going. I'm bored. I have no idea what kind of team they will be until I see them play. They could be great  or just so-so, time will tell. A lot of talent graduated  and we have new coaches. Anxious to see them play.

Defense is the key. They can't beat you if they can't score.

What's the basis for PNG not winning district?  Their lack of defense.

A lot of folks think there will be a big drop off at Newton.  I'm not sure that will be the case.  While the Eagles lose a big running hoss like Darwin Barlow, they have a number of backs like Kevin Foster who can take up that slack. The big question will be the Newton passing attack.  Do the Eagles feel the loss of Greg Neece and Josh Foster in that regard.  I just don't know the answer to that question.  The Newton defense should be just as stout as last year up front but lose some in the secondary.
Based what I know now, it will be Silsbee that is the streak ender.
 

I'm  going with Silsbee as well.  Only because they will  be the first big test for this New look Newton team...

I think you summed it up.  Wish I knew a (foolproof) way to cheat on the others lol.  And to scared to cheat on my income tax.  Many years ago, guy across the street from me did Income Tax for folks.  Steady stream of cars, and glowing reports, so I take mine over.  Got a nice return, but the more I looked at the deductions he put down, the more nervous I got.  I had no idea what half of it was.  Started thinking of sitting in front of an auditor trying to answer questions.  Had to cut my neighbor off.

you can cheat on income taxes, not so much on others.

Guys, we need to move on for this.  The committee has spoken and the assessments have been made.  From what I understand, Coach Landry moved on from this sometime last week as he gathered the players and their parents, took responsibility for the gaffe and apologized to the players and families.  If he is able to do that, I think that the rest of us can do the same.

Not very likely with all the talent that graduated and the coaching situation.

Brown, Barlow, Foster and Walker are some of the notable ones.  Got some good running backs waiting in the wings. The big defensive end will be back. They should have a good team, three peat good ehhh. will have to wait and see. There some big shoes to fill along with the coaching situation.

That is what you have to do, for going into battle thinking you are going to lose is a loss before you even set foot on the field. I do not know anything about Cuero other than that they are a good football team being where they are, but the same thing can be said about Silsbee. You are a fool to believe that Silsbee has not got better as the year progressed. Silsbee's team and backers should believe that they are capable of beating any team until proven otherwise. Win or lose leave it all on the field, nobody can ask anything more. Go Tigers.

Every score I have seen on here  I would consider a blow out. I think they win don't care about the score as long as they win.
