Give it to Newton they have the juice tonight. Our team is not prepared for this game. Coach T. game plan is exposed.
-
Codliver Oil is worse than crow. Offensive line is not doing their job tonight.
-
WOS sorry to say is very weak at QB
-
I'm speechless and that's not easy for me. LOL!
-
Could it be that the Stangs are not mentally in the game. Sure seems that way to me.

Don't forget WOS was state runner up to Paris in 88, the team almost won back to back to back state championships.
-
Misunderstood your point and post. True Mustang Fan!
-
Mr. Buddy Thanks forgot Westbrook success, but they do compete though. :)
-
No fan of WOS would predict Ozen to win anything except blow hot air outtttttttttttttttttt!

Wos#1
Absolutely!

Look get a grip WOS has been to the playoff many years Mr. Kicker, the fact that we are discussing this subject proves my point. Bridge City???? ok.
-
Name what you guys have won then and now. Ozen has reached a playoff birth once or twice a semi or two in football, Pearland Dawson stopped you guys if I am not mistaken, and they won state that year. No schools there In Golden Triangle, and in Houston fear you guys. People here know WOS. That's right. History 101! Besides I wish WOS would stop playing you guys, because it does not help us prepare for harder teams we will meet in the future. Someone does know her history.
-
Besides WOS never had anything given to them they work hard for their success :P

@ ozensfinest
Your team has not reached it's full potential since the system started. I understand your jealously, seeing WOS going to the playoffs year after year, stand in line this too shall past... Beaumont schools have a history dating back to BCP, French, Hebert, Beaumont High, all schools with tradition, but never won anything. You guys own the L in losing. Don't hate participate.

DeMarco Murray ain't the top RB in the league for nothing. Dallas' line is full of 1st round draft choices and it shows. S.F. and Titans have solid d-lines and were blown off the ball. Romo has protection and play action is killing defenses. This is the NFL. Heck yeah we have played somebody. Not putting Dallas in the SB, just know what I see. Houston barely beat the freaking Bills if we talk about playing somebody. Watt won't score the deciding TD in this one. Fitzpatrick is worse than Shaub.
28-10 DallasTexans win this one 24-17. Romo will have trouble with safeties Joseph and Jackson, Swearinger will come up front to force Romo out of his stride.Texan defense will be too much for the Cowboys. Cushing, and Reed are beast. The cowboys will have to play their best game ever to beat the Texans. I see this game as a home game for the Texans. There will be a lot of Texans fans there. JJ is in a class all by himself, I see him swatting Romo's passes and Romo sliding across the field a lot to avoid getting hit. It might work for awhile, not nearly all day. Just my take on things. Texans will not need their QB to be perfect, their special team play is much improved since a year ago. We have a punter that will keep the Cowboys deep on their side of the field where JJ Wyatt will become a monster. Murray is a top running back class act and I really like his game. Cry baby Dez Bryant will have his hands full the whole day. -
@ GATA
Whelp! Why not, The 1-3 Newton Eagles over monster WOS. Mark it downI was about to stop reading post until I saw this one. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

@SouthEastPigskins
Cool, there are a lot of former residents from Orange, Beaumont, and parts of the golden triangle who live in H-Town. Some of us are still rooting for teams back there. Whenever one team has lost during the playoffs, I always root for the remaining teams that continue to play past the golden triangle area. Even though I have lived in Houston for many many years, and have taught in the school system here, I can not forget the rich tradition that we have back home. It would be nice to meet LaMarque sometime later in the playoff to see if we match up well with them. Time will tell. It dose not appear that we will be facing our old foe Navasota this year though. Stangs all the way!

I agree, but second to none I disagree. You could make the same argument with PNG and Newton.
Great statement, but results matters. Newton has state championships, so does PNG have any championships lately?. I am not aware of any but I could be wrong though. The more championships the merrier for the area of the golden triangle.
-
Absolutely, PNG has tradition of winning, as does other teams, I can only speak for what i know to be true at WOS. Hey I remember back when we were West Orange Chiefs, I did enjoy the rivalry between those two schools that is still present today. The golden triangle is known for great high school football. I agree with one of the writer that said his son is not in football, I second that. My son is a 17 year old senior 6ft-3 inches tall, 293lbs has a offensive linemen body with natural talent. I am disappointed that he does not want to play football at his high school here in Spring Texas at Dekaney High School. He is more involved in academics which I am most proud of, due to attend college this coming summer. I can only imagine if he was attending WOS and involved in that culture, things might have been different. would have could have does not count though. HA HA. great post everyone.

Wow what passion everybody has for their teams it's amazing. I personally would like to discuss FACTS that are present. Culture on the field and before these young men step out on Friday nights, means a great deal as to the performance they will display on the field. The culture at WOS is second to none to any other HS football team in the area. I'm not saying that other teams do not have culture, however, tradition at WOS is strong, deep, and is practiced as early as when these young Stangs are in their pee wee leagues. At WOS its' a culture of community, and commitment that the parents, and coaches, instill verbally that VALUE is not only in the money that a person has , but in the effort that they bring to any project that they are involved in. Winning is tradition at WOS. With that said, WOS stands tall always have always will. The scores of games past and present speak for themselves, would have should have does not count, what truly matters is how motivated these young men are, and how prepared they will be to go out on Friday nights and complete their task. Go Mustangs and coaches Best Luck to you!
