It would be good to utilize our players more to come up with ways to motivate them and maximize our strengths.

A major point to add is that Skill and Position must match. Sometimes players are put in positions where their skills don't match or allow them to be effective. I would like to see Mandel King run the ball on forth and inches, or forth and one. He has the strength and weight to get respect if we are needing a first down. Last night I liked what Newton did when they kept running plays without letting us rest in between plays our defense got winded. I believe that strategy was the key to their win. We need better strategy.

Where on the map is China Texas, is it close to Golden Triangle? I'm just asking cause, the beer must be strong over there LOL.

Can somebody tell me who Hardin Jefferson is , and have they won anything as far as district, or ever been to the playoffs , maybe have they won a state championship and I missed it .... What and Why are we discussing them?

What?  No I think we want reflection on how we got beat the last two games.., then how about communicating what the rest of the  coaches need to do to get the team ready , next make a new plan, relay what needs to be done, then finally execute. Simple changes. Resistant to change begins with attitudes.

I know all about Dillon. I have a closer view of the team and have also followed WO-S for multiple decades just like yourself. They should make some adjustments on offense, but not wholesale changes. We need to get back to running the ball and not ask Jack Dallas to pass so much. He is a good kid and good QB. In time, he will be really good. We've had a bigger problem this year with dropped passes than QB play. That continued tonight. It also would've helped to have our best player out there, but he was injured in the first quarter. 

I think our guys lacked focus tonight. Playing without DT really hurt, too. After such an emotional letdown falling short to a goliath opponent, then facing a much smaller team that has lost three games already set us up for this poor showing. That is no excuse for the loss, but I give credit to Newton doing what they needed to win. WO-S will rise from this. I believe they do have the players AND coaches to make that happen.

Totally agree that Zack is a great kid, and he will be a good QB in the future. He is just learning. My point is that coaches should put their players in positions that will allow them to feel that they can be successful.I could be wrong but I don't believe at this time that he is ready to take on such a huge responsibility. Last year I really like the way he made a field goal in one of the games that we had a big victory. We are missing a field goal kicker for sure. Next, we need a stronger full back runner, The King kid has good size and I would try him at full back. I know that some of the guys are going to big time schools next year, and it would be sad to see them leave their school on a negative light. I am a Mustang fan no doubt, win or lose I will support the kids on that football team. The Stangs will bounce back, I hope it will be sooner than later.  

Well let's see what happens next week.

No, that's not what I am saying. The same old plays year after year gets old. CHANGE is a good thing sometimes. especially when everyone knows the plays before hand. Resistant to change is strong in orange, just my take on things. You don't have to agree.

Just FYM Dillion Sterling Cole is really doing so well here I should have gone to that game, only 15 minutes from my house. I'm proud of him, he won his game tonight against Spring High School, 38-35. I'm just waiting to see him play against Spring Dekaney that should be a nice game.

Have to hand it to the Newton Eagles Football Team and their Coaches, they scouted our team, and now everyone  will use their game plan to beat us. Coach T. has nothing new to add so far to give our team the boost that they need to believe that they can win another ball game.  Always will follow the team though.
