whatnamecanipick got a reaction from Big girl in #3 Ole Miss at #12 Texas A&M
Kenny Hill is a sophmore
A year older but still a kid.
A lot of Kenny problems have arisen from over zealous fans and parents his copyrighting a name.

A couple of late meaningless touchdowns sure made the game look a lot closer. With the bama game coming up soon, it could be more of the same. Saban looked mighty ticked off at kiffin yesterday and I believe he's gonna take back control of his team. This won't be good for aggie. -

I know that it is early
CFB Daily has Texas A&M is 5th in the division. I cannot believe there were so many naysayers. There is a lot of football left to play and prove the experts wrong. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:174]
Interesting that the ESPN announcers both praised the size of the crowd and their early departure. They also wondered why there record at home is not better. Food for thought.
Kyle Field is the greatest home field advantage in CFB
Sit back and enjoy the ride. [attachment=180:tamu 4.jpg]

Texas has whipped the sooners all over the field. What if the horns had an offense? -

The SC game had me convinced that the Ags were for real and may run the table. Seasons such as this are why I hate smack talk, bragging on recruits, and attendance records. -

He was ask way from across the field? Interesting. But hey it was a good game didn't see the dogs comin like that really good players. Honestly I think yall could've won that game without Seay. Even with that 98 yard drive on the jags last drive. That's why high school need to review certain plays imo. Well played dough. Hats off to both teams hope every player that was injured in tonight's contest heal quickly. -
whatnamecanipick reacted to ndn2016 in Nederland vs PNG ----- Bet!!
I would not be surprised to see PNG beat Nederland and Central beat PNG, not saying it will happen but this district has had some unusual twists over the years.

Oh, and I thought the game immediately following our conversation was evidence of his point. Brown and gray ran more effectively against Baylor than any game all year. -

A ray of hope for the beat future. I spent about a half hour last Saturday chatting with a guy who played his last game with the Longhorns last season. He was a 4 year starter on the OL after being very highly recruited as a 5* recruit.
He had some injuries but started most of the games over his 4 years of playing. Got his degree, found out the nfl probably wasn't in the cards for him and went back to West Texas working in the oil & gas industry.
He told me that he expects to see the OL improve drastically this year and to see marked improvement each week. The minimal prior starts they had when thrown at byu was too much too overcome. He went in detail about reads and things you have to recognize at this level. He said without experience, you spend too much time thinking and not enough just playing.
But he said this is a smart group that is picking it up very quickly. He also said that although he obviously never played for Coach Wick, he did play against his OLs for 4 years. He said that, coupled with talking to the guys and seeing them practice when he's in town (his gf still lives in ATX), leads him to believe that Wickline is as good an OL coach as there is in CFB.
Take it for what it's worth but I have a lot of confidence in this guy. He was a very good one for the Horns and is exceptionally bright and cerebral when it comes to football.
(And if horndawg had shown up at the tailgate I was going to make him arm wrestle this dude 💪 -

Always comes back to the crabs. They do have medicine for that. Anyone in need should call Roper. He has a tube circa 1993. -
whatnamecanipick reacted to TxHoops in Please come back
If you come back, Mr. Buddy Garrity has agreed to be your personal butler for a weekend. Or that was told to me. By a friend of a friend of a friend who drops off his laundry. So come back. That seems to me to be a solid offer. -

AMATEUR - noun
1. a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons. Compare professional. 2. an athlete who has never competed for payment or for a monetary prize. NO, it's NOT a stupid rule, NO, it shouldn't be changed. It's been the rule for ever, and it's been a good rule, and it's been there for a good reason.........the only problem I see here is it's not enforced more consistently.
The whole argument about other players getting less punishment for bigger or worse crimes is very legit, but that's another discussion in it self.
In this instance, the reason the university suspended him was for self protection - they don't lose scholarships for " crimes" they would for NCCA violations....

whatnamecanipick reacted to TxHoops in East Carolina is this year's UCF.
When WNCIP posted this, I really thought about it hard for a while. I am convinced he would have been great at Nebraska 10-15 years ago. I just think he, like a lot of us, has lost some of his mojo over the past 5 or so years. And it is very hard to coach an elite program like Nebraska with a Twitter addiction.
