I truly believe that the Beaumont schools should be 5A. If they were 5A I could see a lot of wins in both teams' columns.

I think PNG is a team to be under pressure but not so much as to where the coach should be fired. Just because of the new HC, good players, schedule and playoff run. I think it's always easy to coach good talent. But what about the mediocre talent with the same strength of schedule. Basically, take the Nederland team and go to state. Last year was a nice year for PNG, i would like to see it done again. they would have to go to at least 4 rounds to say it was a successful year imo. I also say West Brook. They haven't been so successful since Coach Peevey's run to state. They haven't made the playoffs with Langston and have been under the 500 with decent talent around there. I would also say WOS. They have been soooooo used to winning heck since that 14-15' class until now i believe. Always going to state or making it at least 4 rounds i believe (i could be wrong) the tradition over there is amazing. However to see them under .500 and to lose that many games in a season was a shocker.

After watching the film, i like the defense. That 1st defense can play and they swarm to the ball. They returned their entire secondary minus the transfer to Kelly a couple weeks ago. however, they looked good. wish they could've played more reps. maybe next week they will play more. As far as the offense. I did see some improvement with the qb moving in the pocket and making the throws receivers have to catch the ball. Thirds replacement at rb is nice as well. If the Oline blocks he will make defenders miss in the open fields and strike up the band!!

yea thats what i was worried about is the offense getting better with moving the ball. The defense settled down last year but with wb losing all these kids its going to be tough this year in the "SEC-West" lol

where did the scores come from?

Speaking on Beaumont West Brook and them alone. The best player we have would be Terrell "Third" Smith on Offense. Kid scored majority of the touchdowns last year and without him our offense would not have been in position to make the other tds we did score. Our Qb has to do better this year. I don't care about offers and stars because they are for show and they dont really watch these kids games in the season to rate them for stars and offers are the new groupies where all it takes is one offer and their competition will offer them as well in most cases. If Jenkins is 5'11 he doesn't have any offers. And i said that to say this, In today's recruiting process the measurables matter the most and not the play because these college coaches think they can develop you better than your high school coach. I do love Jenkins arm strength because he can sling it. Our Oline will be his determining factor on how well he moves in and out the pocket. Defense returning would be there secondary (returning starters from last year) which should surprise a lot of teams. Those kids have some chemistry, size and speed. The leader on that secondary is FS Michael Feacher Jr. Led the district in Ints (7) with over 70 tackles and 6 or 7 PBU's. Im interested to see what the front seven would be like. But i know they will be good.

They won the game because they controlled the clock and won with the run game. Game ball goes to the kicker.. take away his fg’s the outcome is different. even though the refs made bad calls on both sides those kids still had to play the game. you’re hilarious though.. but hey idk this sport

People from west Brook already doing that without the combination of both schools. These parents are teaching their kids to chase winning programs. As soon as something happens that the parent don’t agree with by the coach they will pull their kid and transfer them. Especially when parents think their kids are ready for varsity as freshman and that’s in general not a WB thing.

I’ll say this. These kids need support in the classrooms and in the athletic program! Kids pay attention to social media and platforms as such. Nothing will kill a kid’s confidence quicker than them seeing adult criticize them in a negative way. Not only by the comments they read but the actions that come behind it in the stands. I remember when Brook went to state the stands was packed from everyone and not just Brook parents but the golden triangle. Only because they was winning. Same for BU that year they went 8-0 they had supporters but as soon as they went on a losing streak the fans disappeared. It’s sad that adults only support when winning is involved.

I beg to differ on Brook not being in games.. I can name you 4-5 games they were in for sure and just a play away from taking the lead. I can’t speak for BU but Brook I can speak for. Been to every game seen every play.. I think next year it will be different because the team was loaded with juniors and sophomores

Brook basketball is slept on in the area which is understood because of BU. Which is a great program. In house rivalry in district is important which we know because of playoff matchups. I’m order to get to state you gotta take care of your area first.. we know that. And our district in basketball is nice.. can’t wait to see it

😂😂😂 and that’s one of the upsets I’m speaking of. however.. wb football will be back next year.. they have some juniors & sophomores that’s bright. It’s so much that took place with this team off the field. This year was a wake up call I believe for them.
