FF, you don't bother me a bit. Last year you had a stud QB. How does this year's QB stack up? Our starter, Kirby Bellow sustained a season ending knee injury, but Tyler Smith has stepped right in and done well in his first start.

I hope he gets it together and makes all of the PATs, except when y'all play us. Then he needs to think ''WIDE RIGHT". ;D Hopefully, he'll be attempting FGs instead of PATs.

Where did they end up playing?

Let's see now almost everyone on the defense started in a new position, plus several that were new on defense. The first half was a learning experience but the second half they began to put pressure on the Waller offense. This group will continue to get better so I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the battle for 4th! A new RB and a new QB and we still scored 27 points and I am sure someone can figure out how to spin this into the Dogs at best getting to 5th place. But I wouldn't bet the farm on that! Good post. I wasn't able to make the game for my work. How did Tyler look? Did he have some good composure? It's what I look for in a QB. I hear the out and up was dead on. I hear they moved Lovelady to bandit. I think the Bulldogs played excellent considering 7 freakin turnovers and losing their QB. An INT for a TD (be sure and clip Bellow in the process) and another INT in close range, blown coverage on a long pass. Gee, I guess I'm just blind. Let's not just pick on my Longhorns. Besides OK ST. vs. Georgia, and OK vs. BYU, name another tough college game this past weeekend. Let's not forget the national champion's, Florida's, games against Charleston Southern and Troy. Man, you got small schools lined up to get their butt handed to them by Texas. They get some exposure and make some huge bucks, especially if it has tv coverage. Plus, these kids get to actually say they played against Texas, something they will always remember even in a loss. I already gave Vidor the OK to play these teams. ;D If you're suppossed to kick someone's butt and you do it, then you did your job. If you are Ohio St. and Navy almost kicks your tail, then you should drop down a few notches. But you really can't compare high school and college football. It's a whole nother level.

But for you to come on here to cut down our boys like they are pushovers just because they play the teams that the coaches schedule? What the crap? Our boys do their job and they do it well.
