If it is so easy to make the playoffs with four teams going, why don't other teams sport the same playoff appearance record as Neumann? I mean, hey.....it's easy, right? If only one team went, the year we tied with PNG and Ozen, we would have won district.

We've tailgated at Rice. Must have done away with it recently.

I don't know about any of the rest of the players, but Trevin Sonnier could take up a couple more spots on that list and it would be fair. Most amazing player I have seen since Ryan Butler. I think Neumann did a great job again with underclassmen and injuries to key players, and Faircloth took his team deep in the playoffs, but I'm OK with the Crouch selection. Acknowledgements like this only make our district stronger, and that's what we need.

If they're not, they didn't make the team.

[/quote] Baddog, you can look up each team on maxpreps.com. It gives their record and who they won and lost too. It gives results on every team in Texas also the US. When the website comes up you click on the football tab. Then there is a tab that says "Search for your team" click on that. It will then tell you to pick a state. Kville (thought they would win it all) Brookshire Royal (because they beat WOS) Evadale (thought they would win it all) There's three that really surprised me and I think got a lot of people. Good going bleed orange....which three did you miss?

Baseball fills it in for me, and MLB lasts 6+ months. Basketball...... I do like the Rockets.

I listened to most of the game, and the big turning point was the onsides kick by Manvel early in the 3rd qtr. That, after a quick score, plus one more after that was just too much for PNG to make up. PNG fought to the end and you can't ask more from your players than that. It would have been so easy just to hang your heads and give up. This was truly a great game and unfortunately, someone had to lose.
