1. Check out this site. The pic you have seems to be a personal one, so it would be difficult to determine the value because you include the sentimental value. [Hidden Content] ....best I could do. You have probably run sites like this in the ground. I found a site to gauge the value of comic books, of which I have several from childhood. (I wish I had kept them all now). One 'Spiderman' (issue #46) I have is worth $260.00. I thought that was cool. Good luck with yours.

That could be a good thing....talk is cheap. Please feel free to take us lightly.
Us too, please??? ;) ::)
I don't see anyone overlooking Brenham. Your teams are upper echelon in practically every sport. I don't know how you do it. It's gotta be the ice cream.  :D

 4. 50,000 kids tested and 20 positives (some could be false positives) is .0004. Does this number tell me that there is a problem? No! I think paranoia creeps in and destroys our brains sometimes. I think as a society, we overreact to any situation that affects our ''kids'', especially when we can pay someone else to do our parenting for us. School is already nothing more than an 8 hour day care. We could certainly find better things to throw millions of dollars towards than steroid testing. We are graduating some kids that can't even spell their own name, but at least they aren't on steroids. Doesn't that make sense? Please don't give me the ''If it saves just one kid, then it is worth it '' speech, because obviously, it isn't. Why else would they decrease the program funding? It's mainly because there isn't a problem, but it will continue simply to satisfy the paranoids.
 5. What happened to the 20 kids that were caught? Since I think it is human nature to panic and make a situation seem more dire than it really is, I think only this few were caught because we don't place enough confidence in our kids to trust them to make the right decisions. Actually, they will surprise you more times than not.
 6.
If I were Tiger, I would have probably stayed out of the public's eye because I would be so ashamed of what happened with all of the mistresses.
The whole thing is that he wasn't ashamed until he got caught. Now he talks about ''family values''. If they are so 'valuable', where were they before? To stay on topic, Tiger wasn't even close at the British Open.....T23.....13 shots back.
 7. He kept going to each forum and posting one. Grad was the only mod I saw online. Guess he was away from his computer for a minute. Man, if that guy wants to look at that stuff, go for it. But why post it? Good work Grad.
 8. Probably WOSGrad....thanks for deleting the xxx stuff. That guy's IP address is surely banned. Still one below this thread.
 9. ......should be the steroid fight of the year.  ;D
 10. Fedor is still the best there ever was.....just like Ali, and he lost three times. I'll take Fedor against anybody in his next fight.
 11.
on a day where almost everyone has struggled, tiger shot a 5-under 66 to vault up the leaderboard.  he was 7-under on his last 15 holes.  he's currently alone in 3rd @ 1-under, although there are two golfers at -5.  only 5 golfers have made it to the clubhouse with scores under par, and none close to his -5.  we'll have to wait and see if the leaders fall back to him at all.  even if they don't, they're both young, and his presence alone might be enough to mess them  up tomorrow.
.....unfortunately for Woods and Johnson, the tournament is won on Sunday.
 12.

In his prime, there was not a better center ever than Hakeem Olajuwon.  He was unstoppable on both ends of the court.
Bill Russell best defensive center (undersized) to ever play the game.  Nearly always embarrassed Wilt in the big games.
Really??? Nash, you don't know what you are talking about.  Wilt and Russell met 142 times in their NBA careers.  In those games Wilt averaged 28.7 points and 28.7 rebounds per game.  7 times Wilt scored over 50 points on Russell, with a high of 62.  Russell averaged 14.5 points and 23.7 rebounds vs. Wilt.  His high vs. Wilt was 37 points.  Now who is getting embarrassed again?  Russell's teams did win more games head up, but they certainly were more talented as well.  As a matter of fact, they were a lot more talented.  And once again, no center had the total package that Olajuwon had in his prime.
Wilt was about the only one Russell couldn't dominate. Wilt was the only 7 footer around. I agree with the Olajuwon comment.
 13. In my haste to make a list, I left out two very important players....Oscar Robertson and Julius Irving (Dr. J) It's really tough to come up with a top ten and it's always debatable. Whoever said Lebron shouldn't be there without a ring is probably correct.
 14. Aah, the good old days when a player even attempted to show up a ref, he got T'd immediately. And if he got T'd, he better not even look at the ref or he was ejected. That's the way it should be. Now they walk around with their arms around each other like they are bosom buds going out for a beer later.  ::)
 15. I like Rondo's backup, Robinson. I think he could start for some other team. What a shot by Rondo when the Lakers were trapping the inbounds pass and Pierce threw it to Rondo, who laid it up high off the glass......unbelievable body control right there. I still think Nash is better, but Rondo is right there.
 16.
Didn't say they were wimpy and I don't sound foolish. It's my opinion and I believe that's the case along with the money, but like I said on another thread the Big10 and SEC make the most money as was shown on ESPNU. Both over 200 million a year, the next closest was BIG 12 with 60 million. Not even close.
Someone who is afraid is a wimp. You said Texas is afraid. Where's the difference? Then you tlak about how conferences make more money than the Big 12. Maybe conference wise, but not Texas wise. Texas has lucrative tv money. Again, why would any conference offer to take in a school that is not going to pull them in more money, especially if they can get in on the tv contracts already in place? Teams playing Texas would be a huge draw.
 17.

In three games we outscored them 16 to 7. Just wasted all our runs in one game. Congrats to TCU. They have been a top 10 team all year. I hope they win it all. And do yall really think Texas won't go to a regional in 2 years?
I was joking with ya'll about tu not going to a regional, but if they do go to the PAC-10, then it will be tough from top to bottom. It's kind of like playing in the SEC ;D  Sounds like the Horns may stay where their comfortable though in the weak Big-12 (ten teams).
Comfortable? Give it a break. Do you hear yourself? If Texas is such a whimpy university, why are these conferences asking them to join? Now before you come up with your witty little answer, think about it first. Then you won't sound so foolish. It all comes down to money.
 18.
The great University of Texas is OVERRATED, OVERRATED, OVERRATED! Had to take a jab due to all of the Horn fans on here. Looks like my Tigers and tu will be seating home this year. Wait till ya'll go to the PAC-10 next year. May not even make a regional much less super regional ;D
Is this a new approach?
 19. 1-0, one swing of the bat can tie it. 4-0....well, lots of things have to happen right. Doesn't look good.
 20. Don't know why they pulled Workman. We were only losing 1-0 with him in there.
 21. TCU playing better. Shutting out Texas ain't easy. Texas hitting too many popups. Oh well, TCU ain't no slouch. I bet other teams will find that out real soon. Thanks for the updates Ags.  ::)
 22.
From everything I've seen about him Bias probably would have been top two
The Celtics were very high on Bias. He was the best college player out there, head and shoulders above the rest. Also, Magic and Bird were the two best passers the game has ever seen....total team oriented players.
 23. 1. Michael Jordan 2. Magic Johnson/LarryBird....these two guys saved the NBA!!! 3. Wilt Chamberlain/Kareem Abdul Jabbar/Bill Russell..... unstoppable 4. Jerry West....Mr. Clutch 5.  Kobe Bryant/Lebron James 6. Elgin Baylor (and if he hadn't died, we'd be talking about Len Bias) There's a list for all you youngsters!
 24.
Why didn't UT pull the started after it was 8 and 9-0??? I know UT has a great No. 3 in Workman but I would have saved No. 2 starter a bit for tomorrow if needed. He shouldn't have pitched all 9 innings.
Don't know. I had to work and missed the game. Who will carry the game tomorrow? Thanks.
 25.
Nice win for the Pac 10
Not funny!!
