Branch is, transferred from GCM his sophomore year. Donta Allen transferred from GCM in 2014 and was our bellow running back until he got hurt the last game of the season against CE King. GCM currently has a good TE I wish would come over. Seem to have a pretty high hit rate on the GCCISD kids, makes you wonder how good Baytown could be if they went back to two schools?

Branch, Allen,The big Tackle the went to UofH, Doucette, Yalls best Wr next year, Pretty sure there quite a few others that would have been at GCM as well.

But our Old staff couldnt keep players around.

Looks like the GCM job was posted last week to the THSCA site.

Going to be a tough gig if they move back to 6A in a few years (if not the next realignment).

About 4 years to late. Gonna be interesting to see who they can bring in.

That WR I was talking about top2 was announced tonight, he picking on Friday. Outta Bama and Arkansas, what a coincidence. Phaizon Wilson.

The other WR Johnson committed to Oregon earlier today.

Pretty sure Johnson is at Desoto now. If his college commitment is like his high school he wont be at Oregon long..

Oh that's not good at all. BU by 20 if that's the case. I see a lot of second chance put backs for the Wolves unless that one kid is an absolute monster. I'd try to get him in foul trouble early.

He is big but out of shape. We weren't even really running the floor and he was huffing and puffing. They threw a couple lobs dunks to him and he got a few put backs. KP has a G #3 talks ALOT.

    BU by 25.

He is good, but GCM never made him run the floor or play defense. When he did, he looked out of shape. I thought their game plan for the Manvel big man was more effective.

Live by the 3. Die by the 3.

Great season.  I was not aware Bradford was only a Jr. They have a chance to be good next year too.

We def died by the 3 last night.  Katy P's big man was big and looked to be in our boys heads. Only one who wasnt backing down from him was #33. Katy P's big man was huffing and puffing by the end of the 2nd period and then midway through the 3rd lol.

But, if you don't have the community to support the coach, then what good is an elite coach?   If you dont have kids invested, what good does an elite coach do?  If you dont have the jimmy and joe's, what good does an elite coach do?  The coaching is about 8th on my list.  I'm not saying my list is right, but there's a lot of things that have to line up, before the coach can do anything to and with a progarm.

Elite Coaches bring Elite talent. Elite talent wins some games. Winning some games brings more talent and breeds competition.  By competing you weed out the week and build depth.  Jimmies and Joes will come with Elite Coaching.

Just my opinion. Doesn't count for a thing.
