I know Kae Walker personally & I’m telling you you’re a damn lie!

Yeah, I’ve know him for over 25 years. I was hoping you wouldn’t actually mention his name but as sure as my father is buried in Evergreen cemetery I assure you we’ve discussed NS’ talent acquisition process and also my sons playing there. I ain’t on here selling woof tickets but what else would you expect from a guy disputing what came out of someone’s own mouth. I’m going to the driving range, you can have it from here on out ✌🏾

So because a coach from Crosby decided to bring a kid with him from the middle school he coached with him to his new job…NS recruited him? 🤣🤣🤣

The UIL has the report & the number of transfers you can go watch the meeting they spoke about it on there.

As far as Lavonte Johnson goes here’s a perfect example as to why it’s hard to have these convos with y’all on here. Lavonte went to school in GPISD his ENTIRE LIFE up until he got to HS! Including Cunningham middle school which feeds into NS as you know. His daddy was upset he couldn’t get a coaching job at NS so he left & took Lavonte to CE King when he was in the 9th grade. Keep in mind Lavonte’s dad is a NS grad & his older brother (who I coached) went to NS as well. Lavonte attended CE King while still living down the street from NS, his dad had a disagreement with the coaching staff at King & decided to bring him “home” to where the kid attended school his entire life. Please tell me you have better examples of NS recruiting cause this was TERRIBLE point lol

So let me get this straight NS recruited a kid who graduated from their feeder middle school right? Got it

Btw I’m still waiting on you to name the “administrator” you talked to at the track meet lol

He didn't go there specifically for the coach, he went after Willis got hired and everyone got p.o.'d which is when his dad said they were out. The coach that left Crosby had already accepted the position at North Shore in February. What you outlined about a kid following a coach is a blatant violation which I have particular experience with even at an open enrollment school.

Where is the report with Johnson on it like you said? Where is the one with the Crosby kid on it that just came this year? You said there is a report with ALL transfers into North Shore over the last four years. Where is the report so I can verify Johnson is on it, or was that just weird a statement as you saying MOST of the athletes come from the only two schools they can come from without transferring?

The administrator I talked to was your boss' boss, or at least one of his technically two bosses.

Don’t have to ask anyone I KNOW! His middle school got hired at NS and he decided to come with him.

What GPISD administrator you spoke to?

& yes plenty of kids were familiar with Coach Price because he helped a lot of kids get scholarships outside of NS kids, he was very well connected as you can see he’s made his way to the college ranks.

You also failed to mention the report that was done on NS football program showing all of the transfers into the program over the past 4 years from the time the kids were in 7th grade. That report proved your statement about having “talent acquisition” coaches are indeed BASELESS & more than majority of the student athletes came from Cunnigham & NS Middle School. So again whoever the talent acquisition guy is he’s doing a very poor job.

Dude, you literally just verified everything I'm saying. You can't "decide to come with a coach". Smh, the kids is eligible and I want to see him do well so I don't want that to change, plus I'm good friends with that coach.

Nobody is arguing Coach Price's prowess, I'm speaking about getting kids into high school. Particularly a situation with a certain receiver who was one of the first receivers he offered after taking the UTSA job. Obviously you're unaware of what he told the kids at Crosby.

North Shore only has two middle schools. If only the majority of them come from those two schools then where do the rest come from? Can you link this report you're speaking of so I can see if it shows LaVonte Johnson on it? I wan to see if it shows him transferring from CE King last year? There are a few other names I would like to check to see if they're included too?

This is the hidden content, please

Which Coach from NS was responsible for bringing the star WR to the program? Go head I'm listening, cause I actually know how he ended up at NS.

Which Coach you spoke with at the track meet?

UIL didn’t agree with you actually the coach in question simply admitted to the allegations & took the punishment because he makes more money running his recruitment service than he does coaching HS football & furthermore has plans to go into the college ranks with his wife.

You made a baseless statement about having “talent acquisition coaches” which is simply not true so please stand on it. Tell us who these coaches are that you spoke with lol

Kid ended up at North Shore after Coach P left, you can talk to his dad like I did about who got him there. He's eligible now and that's all that matters.

Didn't speak to a coach at the track meet, I spoke to a GPISD administrator

You said the DM wasn't meant to be taken as a recruitment, he admitted it was. You can ask him why YOU think he lied to the UIL, I can send you his contact information. He drove my son and one of NS' o-linemen to a visit.

A couple of staffs ago our guy was Coach Mann, partially the reason we ended up with a D1 offensive lineman from North Shore. Lots of kids were "familiar" with Coach Price at NS prior to him taking the UTSA job, you can ask Tre Dixon's mom about it if you want more information. My cousin was an All-American at NS under Aymond and currently coaches at Desoto, the whole I-20 corridor has "talent acquisition" guys on the staff literally all the way west to Arlington ISD where another one of my cousins coaches at Bowie. My co-worker's son was the starting QB at CE King before he transferred to New Caney, I could tell you who the coach is that acquired the QB who led to my co-worker's son transferring but he's still on staff at King.

Dave Tepper with Texas Football Magazine reporting

"Former Galena Park North Shore offensive coordinator Andrew Cameron suspended three years, head coach Willie Gaston suspended for two district games by UIL for recruiting infractions.

The UIL Executive Committee did not punish the North Shore program, instead focusing it's judgement on Cameron, who admitted at Wed. hearing to recruiting players from area schools. Gaston, whom the committee  ruled was responsible for the program as a whole but did not participate in the violations."

Obviously the UIL got it wrong because Coach Izzy "really knows what happened", they just randomly hand out 3 year suspensions for DMs.

There is no talent acquisition process nor is there a coach assigned to do such your statements are simply baseless.

Furthermore there were plenty of kids he reached out to & other coaches from those programs saws the DM’s. Yet only one tried to “expose” it as recruiting because of the history between NS & Dekaney HC. The UIL had no choice but to intervene, but as I’ve stated before I highly doubt anything comes of this.

Dude, North Shore just came and got our star '27 receiver. When Coach P was at Crosby he pulled up in Barrett Station one time because he thought/heard a North Shore coach was trying to acquire his kids during some training sessions. So a head coach with zero connections to the area was already concerned about his kids being poached by North Shore. Furthermore, at the area track meet in BH last year I was offered a "way" for both of my high school sons to come to North Shore. Again, you can parse the words whichever way you please but the UIL just agreed with my point of view so it seems you're the one making baseless statements even though you "know what's going on behind the scenes".

A guy that has only been with the program for a year & a half was the talent acquisition guy huh? Imagine that lol

Btw there was nothing sketchy about the DM, the guy and his wife owns a RECRUITING SERVICE that helps kids get exposure. Something he’s been doing long before he got to NS & as you should know Crosby hired his wife as the recruiting coordinator over all programs because of her expertise in recruiting.

Yeah, I know all about it. I can show you several pictures where she took my son on recruiting visits this fall while I was on T/A. My classmate/teammate is the assistant AD at North Shore so I'm pretty familiar with the talent acquisition process. All my cousins played for Aymond, North Shore was "acquiring" kids from Forrest Brook, Smiley and CE King way back when Corey Redding and Andre Gurode were on the team in the late '90's when NS first got good.

I saw the DM, so we can debate the semantics of the word "sketchy" but the UIL doesn't investigate things that are above board or at least appear to be. That being said, I don't think anything should happen to Coach Cam or NS other than a "Don't do it again" slap on the wrist. I was at a 7 on 7 tournament in Dallas a couple years ago watching one of my buddy's kids and one of the parents showed us a DM from a coach offering to help her get a car so she could more easily bring her son to a certain school. If the UIL isn't going to take active measure to police it all then North Shore shouldn't be singled out but if I was a coach on another staff and saw that DM I would probably make the same assumptions he did, you would too since any coach is going to automatically assume the worst.

  8. I like the district a lot better with Angleton in it, they bring some physicality and plus level athletes I think the district is missing overall. I think they're pretty comparable physically to the College Station schools Crosby could see in bi-district if we can make the playoffs. I also now have an excuse to go fight the mosquitoes in Lake Jackson to see if I can break 80 at The Wilderness, so thank you UIL.

Hope little Jerry's dad  knows how to smooth current QB because he's a pure athlete -reminds me  of Jalen Hurts.( very powerful kid just getting stronger every year can play  both ways.) heard he was going to transfer until he found out Ware quit.

I wouldn't call him smooth in QB terms but he is a great athlete which is why Coach P will probably switch him to RB like he did with Reggie Branch at Crosby after he played QB for a couple of years. It may be a blessing in disguise for him since he was probably going to be recruited as an "athlete" versus a QB anyway. He may still transfer if his feelings are hurt and he's dead set on playing QB like a couple of transfers we lost from the '27 class were I think he'll probably end up liking whatever role Coach P carves our for him in the offense. Coach P and Coach Poth(DC) get kids to college.

  10. Lots of staffs at winning programs have "talent acquisition" guys, it's an open topic in south Dallas county. North Shore is about to take the reprimand for the whole east side when they get less kids than CE King and lower profile transfers than Summer Creek. I think the UIL does the least they can to NS so they don't start going down a slippery slope around the rest of the state because I can 100% guarantee you Coach Cam is far from the only one that has sent sketchy DM's to kids.

Guess you haven't seen Dayton s sophomore QB  play last year ! He's  a monster in his own right.Dont see him loosing his job .

I saw some of his highlights if he was the varsity QB last year? Crosby had a stud ‘27 QB that transferred to BH because of little Jerry. He’ll be the QB and Dayton will be better for it. It’ll be his 4th year in the system while the other kid won’t even know where to line kids up. I’m a tough critic of coaches playing their sons but little Prieto is legit and then some.

    14.2 moving to Dayton?

Nah, Levi’s off to college after the THSPA state finals and my prize steer who’ll be a sophomore next year is fond of the staff. Our defense was the worst I’ve ever seen but the DC played LB in the league, is a great LB coach and the kids love him.

Dayton is probably going to win somewhere around 30 games over the next three years with Prieto’s son at QB(if he stays at Dayton). They won’t have to worry about me moving in because he’ll have Liberty County sowed up. That’s just how it works as you can see from North Shore’s situation.

  13. He’s also bringing the DC which is his most important assistant since Prieto calls the plays. The OC at Crosby under Prieto is most likely coming too. Most important pickup will be Prieto Jr. Held his own this year in his playoff start as a freshman and should end up a high 3️ recruit at minimum. Dayton has their Jerry Stewart and fell into Cody Green-lite. Congrats Bronco fans, looking forward to the opener.

What happened with Howard? I haven't talked to his dad in awhile.

After tearing his knee up his senior year I think the mental part of the recovery was tough on him moving forward. He looked solid when he got some clock at Blinn but I think going from potentially the Big 10 to grinding it out in juco isn’t for everybody. I know Kellen Haynes has the school passing records but IMO Howard is the best QB Crosby has had since probably 2000.

Only thing I'll say is it gives Crosby a couple years to get our feet back under us as this is not the top end quality of district 9.

I think we’ll be more than alright with a full offseason and if Willis can get the kids to buy in. We got a transfer QB from FB Crawford that would’ve been a FB Ridge Point kid before he got re-zoned and looks a lot more like what Willis needs to run his system. He’s only going to be a sophomore next year but he’s already camped at UTSA and UH. Only concern I have is that he’s being recruited as a pro-style QB and built like Jaiden Howard while Willis’ offense is option heavy? I’m not overly optimistic but hopefully a full offseason and kids being in the system for a second year helps out.

LP will run thru Png, literally.

If Liberty Hill couldn’t run through PNG La Porte won’t either. They’re not better than PNG on either line of scrimmage and PNG can actually play defense. It’s an indictment on the district for a team of that caliber to be able to win it which is ultimately why the district was 1-4 in the playoffs.

    My observations

Glad to see PA back in Reg 3 but

    Dist 9 5A D1 and Dist 11 don't make sense from a geographical standpoint

My Trinity Trojans go from playing N Crowley to having to deal with SLC and Byron Nelson for the next 2 years......

Figured they would've switched Angleton and Galveston Ball for Kingwood Park and Porter but I guess they used the beltway as the deciding factor? Very easy drives for Crosby next year.
