  1. Well that's what I mean. When I was in high school...only high school kids would've been the kind of person to mooch off their mom and dad's anything. We didn't have "data plans" so I wouldn't even know an example. My parents stopped paying bills for me the day I went to college. Excuse me for not knowing what you meant.
  2. That's not the first time this thread that inference has been made to me being a ...high school kid?.. I guess. Thats not sarcasm. That's implication. by the way..I used mighty sarcastically and was accused of being negative also
  3. But I'm the negative one?
  4. Umm.. wow. Yep. You caught me red handed with that one. Maybe you should tell AAW to delete my profile. I mean, clearly. Using "mighty" with a sarcastic undertone can not be tolerated.
  5. How are either of those comments talking negative about their team? Unbelievable. Truly...unbelievable. How many negative comments were said about me before I even said either of those comments. 2 or 3 pages worth.. Even tho I still didn't say anything bad about their team.
  6. That's your negative comment example?! That was me admitting that I knew what was going to happen. I knew that WOS fans would get butt hurt and think I was attacking their baby. Was I right?.. Still waiting on the exact words I used that were negative towards the WOS football team.
  7. I'm begging you. Please..find one single negative comment I said about WOS in this thread. Just one. Take all the time you need. I'll admit. "WOS was exposed" was taken out of context. I was meaning that they had a weakness (yes WOS) that allowed Liberty to keep control of the ball most of the game. Which means that that weakness was exposed. I also believe I said that Liberty wasn't good enough to win doing it. But I did say there MAY be a team that is. i didn't say a single negative comment. Despite all the negative comments toward me. Unless you can find one. I won't hold my breath
  8. Alright so I sent a few texts and found out. You're right, he wasn't the OC at Jasper. But he was the OC at HJ for several years before going there. So you couldn't have been more wrong in saying he brought in coordinators with no experience. But even if he would have. You tell me what experienced coach in their right mind would go be a coordinator at Hardin. Either looking for experience...or wants to live in that area. Every coach in this state knows how hard it is to succeed there. And now...running off a coach week 6... Good luck ever getting another good one.
  9. It's pretty funny that I get so many private messages from people saying they agree with me. Then on here everyone acts like what you're seeing here. Pure blasphemy if anyone mentions anything about any school.
  10. I'm not a Liberty fan. You might want to read over some of my previous posts. I dislike just about every setx school equally in those terms. Nor have I made an excuse for them losing. I don't care that they lost..or by how much. Just bringing up the fact that they were able to do what most haven't. Offensively. You're welcome to go back and read my posts.
  11. No way I see EC losing and ending their playoff streak.
  12. I can't speak for the Liberty coaching staff, because I don't know any of them. But I do know a lot of coaches. And I even know coaches that know Liberty coaches. I've never once met a coach that "tried to prevent a blowout" like people keep saying. Or goes into a game "defeated". It could be possible that they knew that this was their only chance to put the kids in a position to keep the score close enough to maybe win. Long shot or not. I think even when coaches are obviously overmatched they are still doing what they can to better their chances for a win.
  13. You (and several others) are failing to realize that a better team may take more advantage of those numbers. And that it shows that even the mighty WOS football team can be capable of giving up yards.
  14. Easily = 271 yards of offense. 37 minutes of possession time. Very few turnovers. Notice I didn't say they scored easily...I said they moved the ball easily. To move the ball using an offense that was only practiced a week or two at the most.. I'd say that counts as easily.
  15. Those fans up there aren't near as fun to mess with.
  16. Know what JH games mean? Well...pretty much nothing.
  17. 2 things: 1. Didn't he hire the OC from Jasper last yr? Didn't they go to round 3 or 4 with this OC calling the plays? Plus..pretty sure that OC has been coaching for a pretty good while. Darryl Barbay would not let a rookie call the plays for 1 of his teams. 2. Sometimes people leave a job when they know they don't have a choice. He lost complete support...and that doesn't leave any choice. Like I said above...I have a lot of contacts in the coaching community. I know more about this than you think.
  18. The word exposed was definitely taken out of context. Point is.. A team with size and some decent backs (Liberty) gave WOS a lot of trouble on the defensive side. That is a certainty. Wasn't enough to overcome...which is also a certainty. But there may very well be a team that is good enough to do just that. I definitely left out a couple. But those more so than others because they are the pride of SETX football. So those fans really hate it.
  19. BV takes this one.
  20. Lot of sarcasm in what I said there. Fact is...I'm at all surprised at the amount of backlash I'm receiving for stating something that actually happened. (60 plays for 270 yds in 37 mins of game time). That isn't hearsay...those numbers actually happened. I know what the final score was. Fact is..is you say anything on here that WOS, Silsbee, or Newton fans don't want to hear, then it's constant ridicule. I actually expected it.
  21. I truly believe I didn't say anything taking away from the fact that WOS won and won by a big margin. I was referring to the fact that the score didn't tell the whole story, and Liberty was able to move the ball relatively easily. Is that not true?
  22. I did say Liberty was a better team than HJ...and that HJ happened to beat them when they played. I also said Liberty would give WOS a lot better game than HJ did. As it turns out..Liberty is getting the #2 seed in that district...making them in fact the better team. And I'm pretty certain 32-7 is a bit better performance than what HJ could muster.
  23. Oh I know. I take back everything I've ever said about WOS with the slightest implication that they aren't the greatest high school football team to ever play the game. I just wish they could play 6A so they could win the most prestigious of state titles. Give up 270 yards of offense, force very few turnovers, and keep the ball out of their hands for 37 minutes. Why on Earth would anyone see any issue at all with that. I must be losing my mind.
  24. I seriously couldn't care less if it was 32-7 or 100-0. Don't care. All I said was that I heard that this game was a lot closer than the score showed. I then gave a description of HOW it was closer than the score showed. I understand that WOS won and that's all that matters. I'm just saying that they gave up a couple hundred yards and there were 60 some odd plays that they weren't able to run an offensive play. There are several teams better than Liberty that WOS will play on their way thru the playoffs...and a better team probably won't only score 7. All I was saying.
  25. Here's all I'm saying. They were able to keep the ball out of WOS hands for 60 plays..or whatever. There are a lot of teams better than Liberty. All I'm saying.
