Like most playoff games the team that shows up prepared the most will win. FBM will be favored. But I think by a slim margin. PNG has to get off to a good start and stay on the accelerator for 4 quarters. Go Indians!

Congratulations Lumberton. You guys are on the right track. That accelerator is a little tricky though.

Congratulations PNG. Y’all picked up up the ball in mid county and are running with it. Brenham has always been a formidable foe and a class act.

Just remember Lumberton, CH laces up they’re shoes just like you. You guys belong in this game. You’ve earned it. Go out there on the first play and hit em hard and don’t let up on the accelerator. Go Rebels, uh Raiders.

I really don't think WOS is in trouble. The pedigree is there. The coaches will look back and evaluate the past season and make the correct changes. It still may be a little different vision from the past 2 coaches. As long as the kids buy into it, they will be successful. He has to have this.

Bucs were up and down this year. I think the playoff atmosphere will push a button on those Chambers County boys. EC by a nose.

Picking the Horns in this one. Keep the momentum going. One of my favorite HF playoff memories was watching yawl play LaGrange at Tulley stadium back in the mid 70's. Les Koening was QB. I had never been in a HS stadium like that.

I truly believe this is a unfortunate year. Little senior or junior leadership. Is it the coaches fault. Ownership runs up hill. I don’t have the right answers and been out of the loop for a few years. I’d say give it another year. Monty has a great football mind. I think with the right support decisions will be made.

Well I’m glad the misery is over. I thought they might end on a good note, especially playing PNG tough last week.

Proud of the young dogs. I thought they should have upset the Indians. First time I seen png play. Impressive defense. I know now Big Ned will be fine.

Well, I have never picked PNG to win MCM. In the last 25 years I've been right most of the time. So, this year will be no different. The Nederland players will not have the experience going into this game, but the Nederland coaches do. I pick Big Ned in a stunning upset at the Reservation. I could be wrong though. Go Young Dogs.

Hey, if this continues to linger on, then let's raise a few flags. I have only been around Nederland since the mid to late 90's and I've never seen it quite this bad. I really don't think it's time to round up the usual suspects yet. You have to look hard at these games, but you can see the fight and determination of not many but a few. And that's all it takes some time. Come on dogs let's get a win.

Well, here are the facts. Nederland lost a good part of their upper classmen due to whatever reason. They are relying on sophormore (15-16 yr olds) to toe the line. Coaches are in unfamiliar territory here. They're doing the best they can. I've watched most all the games. Are there bone head mistakes. Heck yea. But they are going out each Friday night and competing. They know they are not making the playoffs. But they can't wait to put on that gold helmet with Old English N on it.

This game will be closer than Silsbee wants it to be. Picking HF in a slight upset.

Should be a good game. Might be low scoring. PNG has learned how to play some defense and Dayton has become a well balance team. Hard to call.

Well at this point, it’s all about building towards next year. Congratulations SF. You’ve got a good team that has determination. It’s hard to have heart when you’re getting beat up. I thought this QB would come around but without a ground game, he’s getting keyed on and just throwing the ball up which is not good. He’s not having the chance to get better. Bad part about it is the schedule is about to get tougher. God speed sophomores.

I think HF finally has a chance to beat WOS. It will happen if they can erase everything in their football history heads and jump on them early. That's the key.
