A BUC 77

I see your point. It’s the coach’s decision. I think they (coaches) are fully aware of kids getting hurt. Working on passing or different plays, is a possible scenario. Keeping them in a rhythm maybe. You don’t want these guys sitting around too long. You know what they say about idle minds. He’s not making a statement. There are no poles here.

It’s hard to tell how great Nederland played when Lee played so bad. Anyway great game, especially the defense, special teams and the qb. These kind of games is what you need sometimes.

Congratulations Dogs. That win last week gave the team a lot confidence.

Great game Dogs. The refs didn’t throw a flag till 3rd quarter. Bringing in a receiver to play quarterback was tuff but he stuck with it. Great job. #8 is fast and needs to be utilized more. Defense looked great in spurts except the secondary. They need to get better and play smarter. Hey we got a win. No better feeling on a Saturday morning.

Yeah Blubaugh has been great lately. So I can’t be too mad. This is a great Phillies team though. Peña’s great play and Marshes base running era may have saved the game. Hader finally gave up a run but the Stros hung on. Yordan needs to get rolling. I like how the Astros get up when they play good teams.

The Newman teams were slow out of the gate at times, so that is what I’m gonna do, be slow to decide if this team will be a winner or not. This week will probably determine a lot of things. Offense takes a little more time than defense to develop. Dogs by 6.

First game. Sorry I missed it. Sounds like they were competitive against a larger school. We’ll see what they have next week. Go Dogs!

Always competitive. Always fighting. They’ll be district champs.

Can’t wait!

Go dogs!

They just inducted him into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.

I've noticed over the past years ESPN has put baseball in the backseat. Is the popularity of baseball going down? On the professional level, I see most ballparks full of people. Maybe not capacity crowds. but still a lot of fans and these guys play almost every night. You can't play football every night. You have to know the game a little to enjoy it. If it's boring, then that means it's a pitcher's duel.

Happy Birthday. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. There is always to sides to everything. Thanks to all who are responsible for keeping it going and keeping it respectable. Go Dogs.

Well, there is a lot of schools in the state Texas that would love to be in WOS shoes and would be thankful for a coach Hickman. No reason to question him. That I see. I could be wrong though, for I am just a mere mortal.

HAIL TO THE KING.

Coach Dan Ray Hooks will be pacing the sidelines. Hollering at the refs. Motivating the players. It will be a good day for Stangs.

I don't think it's panic mode yet. Give the Coach a little more time. He was handed not a bad team but a bad culture. When you have upper classman not wanting to play football because of numerous reasons, it's going to take a while. What the coach needs is support from the fan base, especially the parents.

Tough to watch. I hear we’re young. I hear we have a bunch of injuries. The main thing I wanted to see is a hard fighting bulldog team. The halfback pass and the option are on the coaching staff. Just like the long passes by png in the latter part of the game. On another note, I wanna send prayers to my classmate Dennis Sedtal a long time umpire and referee. May you rest in peace.

The only thing that is known about this game is that this guy will be on 45 yd line 20 rows up. There will be a dog fight, and the feathers will fly. There may be a bottle rocket attempting to disrupt the game.

Yes, if we don't get well, we don't have a chance. The secondary will have to step up. Stranger things have happened though. This is Nederland.

What is the QB and RB situation for Nederland?

Big Ned wins with back-ups and home cooking. Turn on the sprinkler system.

West Brook by 10. Go Bruins!

Go Big Bucs.

I know losing is painful, but I like the fight. Congrats to Dayton, who always brings something to the party. Defense needs some shoring up. Maybe it's time for some guys to go both ways.
