Looking at the Jacksonville film, I wasn't totally impressed. Not a clean game at all. But showed prominence on both side of the ball. Defense looked good. RB's did great. Hopefully 2 weeks of practice will eliminate some issues, like dropping the ball and interceptions.
-
Should be another great game. We have 2 pretty dang good RB's and a WR. Bost is a great QB. There O line is always good. There defense might be the weak link. If Big Ned continues to get better at their QB position, game on.
Nederland by TD.

It was a great showing for the dogs, even with a loss. They went toe to toe with a much larger and talented team. When they fell 10 are so points down, they didn't give up. Needs some work on the secondary. QB and RB's look good. Defense line and LB did ok. Field looked great. May have to go visit family in J'ville this weekend.
-
The offense did ok against PAM last week. Offensive line is young and will have to grow quick if they are going to be successful. They have a two head monster in the backfield. The QB has experience, not at this position, but seems to be coming around. He has some speed too. Defense will win this game, and Ned has that going for them.

Big Ned looked pretty good on defense. Offence line is young and looked overmatched, but will progress. QB was ok. There was a few desperate passes that weren't close, but for the most part did a good job. I was quite satisfied with the team and the brand new field.

Since Lumberton was the larger school, I thought they might have more size on the line. But them boys from Winnie may eat a little more rice and gravy.
-
I think it will be an interesting game. Lumberton has the numbers and size, but EC has the speed. If they have no injuries to key players, Bucs win, in another close one. If Lumberton jumps out with a lead it may be tough.

Don't know about football, but back in the late 70s we were big rivals in baseball.
-
From that highlight video, the bucs look pretty good. HF's program is progressing. Throw out numbers on this "County Line Conflict. It will be one to watch. EC by a nose.

Prayers for you and your family. It is hard to loose someone so close. May the lord be with you.

I knew he looked familiar. I always thought it was a high school coach. Obviously I'm not a saint's fan.
It looks like it was taken when he was a high school coach.

That depends, I took one today in Houston to be cleared for a cardiac catheterization on Friday (nothing wrong, annual caths are routine for heart transplant recipients) and results are expected in 24-48 hours.
My prayers go out to you. I just had a cath done on my renal arteries. They were clear.

it's a gift and a risk. This is not the flu. People need to understand and follow the precautionary rules. Less is known about this very contagious virus than people think. Lets help these kids have the season they totally deserve, but be safe about it.
-
They've taken down the score board and video screen. I assume we getting a new one.

Sorry to hear. Prayers for family and friends.

I don't see it mocking the Native Americans. That Indian Spirit aspired, trained, practice and made the costume. He's not just dancing around on the football field. He's honoring and portraying a brave human being. As for changing the name, I think there is nothing wrong with "The Indians". Now for "The Redskins", that's a little different.

District games only. No scrimmages. Face shield and gloves, maybe.

I don't consider Ned vs Png a rivalry at all. Rivals should despise each other and these two just love the dickens out of each other. Its more like a circus than anything else.
They are work mates, best friends, cousins, brother and sister in-laws, husband and wives till game week and then they are like Democrats and Republicans, Aggies and Longhorns, X's, Indians and Dogs.

Should have taken a poll. The Blue Link. That's just one link. What about the rest of the team.

What are they doing out side the fence, behind the home side. A lot of dirt work being done. Nice place for parking lot.

I think this is the way it's going to be. Everything leading up to the kick off will be different because of the virus. Everything after kick off will be as close to normal as it can be. It will be a hard fought game with ecstatic fans on both sides.
