Growing up he was one my heroes. Right along side EC great Glen Gaspard.
-
I saw that Meeks past away a few years ago. He was known for turning around programs and helping other coaches even when he was about to play them. In the East Texas Hall of Fame.
-
Well I can vouch that there weren't any big name athletes moving in Winnie in 1977 to play football.
-
Well, I guess we'll have to pick up a paper, go to the barber shop and watch the local news.
-
We see who gets motivated more in November.
-
All this can be settled with the head chief of "PNG Nation" and the head chief of "Cherokee Nation" having a Pow Wow and iron things out. Spoke a peace pipe. It would be pretty good publicity as well. They could meet at "The Reservation".

LCM is lucky to have him.
-
I wish him all the luck, except on October 28.

Really both, but one will come with more backlash than the other.
Leadership has got to understand, the voters are going to Google the new head coach’s last name. They’re going to find the win-loss records and the history, which will also find its way into every news media article about the hire. They’re going to see the rumors that have been circulating here and elsewhere for months, and people who have been slow to pass judgment are going to see that as confirmation that the rumors were true. And even if it’s a likable guy who’s cleaned up and rebuilt his career (I personally happen to like one of those two quite a bit as a man), it doesn’t make him the right guy to take over the PN-G program.
In particular, college recruiting is a concern to a lot of people. PN-G wasn’t shelling out many Roschon Johnsons, Jaylen Garths, Blake Bosts or Adam Morses before Faircloth. We’ve had more success at that the last six years or so than we’d had in decades. Y’all know relationships are everything when it comes to college recruiting, and Faircloth’s relationships at the next level went a long way for some PN-G alumni who might not have gotten a second look without him. Moving forward, a lot of your major programs are going to have concerns about appearances when the relationship is with a guy who has a history of NCAA violations.
I was in these threads telling people there would be tremendous political blowback over Faircloth’s ouster. Nobody in leadership listened. Now the school board’s in full bore damage control mode, calling around trying to get people to stop talking about it on Facebook because the outrage is multiples of what they thought they’d get and they need the conversation to die down. I hope they listen to my prognostications this time.
It's to late late. The damage has been done. I hope find someone who has thick skin. Comes in and does it his way. Satisfies the masses and the kids. A tall order but hey, the school board made their bed, know they have to lay in it.

5 on offense. 5/6 on defense coming back next season
Need to find a starting QB, RB, a couple OL & play making WR since Fuselier graduated.
Defense has to replace Beck at LB, DB'S & DL guys lost to graduation.
Tall order.

Doesn’t sound good. Come on defense.

Looks like to me, All Crosbie needs to do is stay with a game plan. Eye on the prize (ball). Let LH make the mistakes. Geaux Cougs.

Congrats to the Hill. Great game plan.

Thank you for defending our freedom and the life we all enjoy every day. I especially like to thank our WWII vets, which we are quickly losing and some day soon the Greatest Generation will be gone. Miss you Dad.

Texas Roadhouse is a good choice. Get the loaded sweet potato as your side. I'd wouldn't say we never have a great offence. We've had some pretty good ones in the past. The 2012 team that upset Pearland Dawsen comes to mind. Carsen Raines, Colton Kimler and Kendrick Hopkins were some bad dudes.

Not sure what to say about the Dogs, except they started out good and look to end bad. I hope they show up Friday night and give Crosby a fight. I'd like to see Fuselier show off one more time for the home crowd. Dogs will be down by at least 2 td's. You Crosby folks come down to mid county and spend some money. Oh, and ugh congratulation.

Prayers for Ben and his family. Lord give him the courage and the belief that you will be at his side every day.

I'm glad the sky isn't falling. Coaches will continue to squeeze what they can out of these kids. They always do. Geaux Dogs.
