A BUC 77

Listened to most of the game.  WOS is noted for having there guys in shape.  They played 4 quarters and the Bulldogs played 2.  Overall, I think it was a win for the dogs.  It showed they can compete.  Let's see if they can continue to get better each game.  It does bothers me how the game end though.  Hopefully it was fatigue not heart.

Congratulations BC.  Wake up the echos.

  Defense and penalties will be the boogie bear.  Need to find that first half offense that performed Friday night.  Playing at home will be a little better.  Momentum is a must for the dogs if the can find it early.  All cliché aside, PAM by two scores.

Who ever scores first wins.  

Good matchup.  I think HF sticks it out in a tight ball game.  I have not seen either team in a long while.  Home field may play a big part.  Longhorns were able to go toe to toe with a so so Bulldog team. 

2 undefeated great football programs going at it.  Should be a great crowd and a heated contest. Nederland by 7.   Make me a profit Dogs 

Scrimmages 

It's sad to hear.  We see this from time to time and it is a blow.  I can't imagine what the family and the community is going through right now.   Peace be with you.

A true SE Texas legend in sports.  I loved his sports articles.  His Friday Night Experiences.  I met him while standing in line at Walgreens.  He just had a presence about him. 🙏

Always heard of HF's concessions.

A hard preseason will do nothing but help the bulldogs.  If Nederland had a team with no will power and would stand to just get murdered in the preseason, then no don't play these guys. 

CONGRATULATIONS.   I seen him play many times and was always impressed and mad at the same time.

Well, these junior have had the experience most seniors should have.  Let's see what unfolds.  

My take on this, is that these guys are at the threshold of there life.  Yeah some are young adults and some are bone head kids.  They still need parents, teachers and coaches.  Most of all they feed on each other.  Hopefully there is a few good leaders in this group.  Let's see what this group has in store for us armchair quarterbacks.  Geaux Dawgs.

Good to hear that this young man is progressing.  There is a lot great QB's out there sitting at home or playing baseball.  Persistence, is what it's all about.  I'm ready for some Nederland Football.

All eyes will be on Nederland this year.  Pivotal.  I hope it will be in the upward direction.  If it is up Nederland will make the playoffs.  Are these young sophomores football players?  We'll find out.  Go Dogs!

Channelview vs Whitehouse 

He was the best thing that has ever happen to Vidor football in my memory.  Always positive.  Stands were always full.  Personally, I didn't know the guy, but I know he was well respected all around SE Texas. You don't have to go deep in the playoffs to have an affect on these young men.  God speed Coach Matthews.

  They shouldn’t be wanting to play at Jerry’s monstrosity.  They should be wanting to play for a state championship.  Most of the population is in the east part of the state. So having it in NRG every 3 years is not that bad.  Rotate.  I’m tired of the home field advantage to the DFW schools.  Mom cooks them breakfast and they catch a ride to the game.

Great season INDIANS.  Tough battle.  My take on the game was a great first half.  OC adjusted to what was given to them.  Momentum is always the key.  By the 3rd quarter you guys were wearing down.  Nguin , I can tell was exhausted. Needed some help in the running department.  The interception and losing the QB was a killer.  Thanks for representing the GT and all the crazy people.

 Bally sports called the game as if it were a Dallas network.

I feel pretty good about this game.  PNG is hot rolling into the championship game.  Big crowd will help and that's what they'll have.   It's what it's all about.  SOC is a great team.  If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.  And I think that's what going to happen Friday night.  It's going to take a balanced attack to do it.  Establish the run early along with a good defense and you will win this game.

Heavy weight fight.  NS should squeak by.  I watched them manhandle Craig Stump's  Atascocita team.  They have a lot of weapons on offense.
