  1. Not yet. Because as we know, if Florida wins, the other 13 schools get to hang a banner. The SEC - where championships, sisters, cousins and livestock are shared...
  2. I would take Big Shot Bob's kid over Big Game Bob's kid any day. Wonder how good he is at roundball? Next Tony Gonzales?
  3. I think the shot clock improves the game and prefer it at the high school level and above. However, due to the logistical issues DV mentions (if for no other reason), it won't happen anytime soon IMO. At the same time, the sentimental part of me appreciates the leveling effect not having a shot clock provides. After all, the true story behind "Hoosiers" could never have happened with a shot clock
  4. Preach!
  5. While not quite as good as 100 percent, 20 percent is better than 0 percent. A little math lesson for those of you from the hillbilly conferenxe.
  6. No words. If Baylor votes to bring him back, the NCAA should give them 2 death penalties - one to kill the program and another to make sure it's dead. Then they should be booted from the conference and the land it sits on annexed and removed from the State. Because they are surely an embarrassment to us all.
  7. Bye bye LSWho. Maybe the Gators will keep you guys from going 0 for supers tomorrow. #snicker
  8. Big XII goes 3 for 3 in super regionals as conference upgrade TCU punches its ticket to Omaha. LSU ties it up against Coastal Carolina State College in the Appalachians to try to turn the 0 for 3 SEC tide so far in these Supers.
  9. Is that the guy who can't win half his games and still hands poor aggy its behind in recruiting? Poooor, obsessed aggy
  10. Tech wins 11-0. Okie Lite beats USCe 3-1. Both heading for Omaha. Big XII 2 for 2 so far in Supers.
  11. Yet another example of how the Big XII upgraded...
  12. I can't imagine anyone bumping Devon at the point. I guess could say he starts at the two but L wherever he is placed, the ball will be in his hands. He's a distributor and there's not a kid in the area with his vision.
  13. You can't blame him. Poor aggy doesn't hang on to QBs long enough to be able to make comparisons...
  14. I could be wrong but I believe he was the assistant at Evadale before taking the Vidor job.
  15. To take a head job
  16. Better job IMO. Not sure about pay but much easier to win in Evadale. Like the district and facilities. And the team should be the district favorite over the next few years.
  17. Oh, we are talking about the Florida Marlins? Cause we all know the The University is a step up from every NCAA job. Which is why the NCAA all time wins leader left his gig to go there.
  18. Another 5* McDonald's All American to add to the class. Shaka is going to have this program soaring. Just watch...
  19. Singletary? That would be my choice anyway. I think he could do a really good job there and he is a class guy who played for a class guy at Baylor.
  20. I get the comparisons and arguments on both sides. In terms of skill sets, very tough to argue against Eli. Physically, hard to find a more gifted player. But Devon is also extremely gifted and his intangibles are off the charts. So hard to find a mega-talented player that also has "it." And Devon's "it" factor is off the charts.
  21. Or softball. There's a softball thread around here only one person was interested in...I wonder who??
  22. Kid is so smooth. When it looks so effortless, you know you have something special.
  23. Sweet! From before or after the Roosevelt administration?
  24. I agree. As I've said, I thought he earned the right to coach one more year and finish his contract. I mean, I realize it's been 2 whole years since he went to Omaha but still. The timing was indeed very aggy of us..
