How you, I or anyone else evaluates (judges) sin comparisons is totally irrelevant. How God judges sin is all that matters. However, as Christians, we should attempt to align our opinions with His Word.

Another poster on here said God does not hate  and I understand your humor, so let me try to explain how God does hate (not hateful there is a difference) but at the same time is compassionate ( but is not soft on sin either), and if I can explain this well then Soli Deo Gloria and if I do not explain it well then I apologize.
Revelation 2:15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
(Psalm 5:5) - "The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity."
(Psalm 11:5) - "The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates."
(Proverbs 6:16-19) - "There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18  A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers."
(Hosea 9:15) - "All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels."

So God hates sin and  sin separates us from God   Isaiah 59:2 cbut your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God...

S So as westend 1 pointed out ole Fred Phelps lived a long life  and 2 Peter 3 :9  tells us why God allows such sin "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
So God hates sin, must punish the sinner, but is patient and slow to anger so that men will find salvation and God proves His love this way while we were yet sinners Christ died for us....according to the scripture.

Here is the beauty of these scientist's and their big bang theory.  In order for it be so, you have to have a spontaneous explosion that has no source of power or matter to work with that just happens miraculously and boom, you now have matter and it has somehow come together in forms and shapes.  And then, without anything at all being added to it or controlling it, it just starts to change and develop and evolve!!  There isn't a single scientist, especially Stephen Hawking, who can, under any set of labratory conditions, duplicate this phenomonal feat!!  But what they can do is "theorize" what might have happened "miraculously" for them to get to this point in there personal and human existence without the existence of a God!!!  I can tell you, that takes a faith that would make any religious person look completely faithless!!!  Or to put it another way, it is a proven statistical fact that if you tell someone a lie frequently enough, he will come to believe it!!!

God could have used the Big Bang Theory, but it would have only taken six literal days for all of creation to be formed.

My question to you would be is what initiated the Big Bang? Nothing? I am mean that is the Naturalistic view that nothing created everything and from a Scientific standpoint that is impossible, unless you only pick and choose what parts of science you wish to believe.
Also when talking about beginnings does not one have to account for History also? Maybe Philosophy? How does one recreate "The Beginning" Big Bang or otherwise  using the scientific method?
By faith I take The Genesis account to be true and by faith others take what this generations scientist say about origins to be true. ie  the complexity of a simple cell is a bit more then what Darwin thought it was.   Just remember this there is a lot more money and prestige in the theory of evolution being true then in taking Romans 5:12 literally.  I just know no matter what  when the evolutionary theory loses validity and changes need to be made instead of being open minded the Evolutionist becomes dogmatic and they just use the abra cadabra of evolutionary magic. It is called add another  million years to your answer; that's right if Darwinian Evolutionist can not explain it they just add a million or billion years to the equation to make it work. And when you say the emperor has no clothes on when questioning how science can prove anything that happened over a million years ago then be ready to be called a picker and chooser when it comes to science. I just search for truth and I think for myself and when a man claims to be God, claims to be eternal, claims to have created everything, forgives sin, dies and is resurrected on the third day and claims to be the embodiment of truth then either the Naturalistic view on the  Genesis of life is true and The Bible a lie or The Biblical account of Genesis is true and thus has answers when it comes to Genesis.

I apologize if this does not read well and I am glad there is no grammer and spelling test for salvation......Its by faith

    http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/am/v8/n4/big-bang-evolution-of-theory

When it was first introduced, the “big bang” was sometimes an object of ridicule. But over the past decades, it has proven to be quite pliable, morphing to adapt to each new problem. Are these changes true improvements, or just rescuing devices?

I have to somewhat disagree with both of you. I think homosexuality and heterosexuality in most cases could have little to do with upbringing or parenting. Man was born with a sin nature. I think we all have different challenges and temptations. I think some people are born much more susceptible to homosexuality than others just as other people may be more susceptible to other vices. However, it is a choice to follow those desires as is with any form of temptation.

Four reasons why gay marriage is our concern http://www.worldmag.com/2014/03/four_reasons_why_gay_marriage_is_our_concern By ANDRÉE SEU PETERSON Posted March 12, 2014, 10:27 a.m.   I received a broadcast email from a respected teacher, rebuking and exhorting Christians to get our house in order: to love our spouses well, to stop divorcing at rates that rival unbelievers, to quit trifling with premarital sex. He was right. We’re a mess. Let’s do better.
But buried in the middle paragraph was this other opinion:
May we stop right here and nail this issue once and for all, lest we the people of God continue our drift toward death on a current of mushy thinking? I would respectfully offer four reasons why the state’s embrace of same-sex marriage is our concern and something to fight with all our means:
Same-sex marriage will be deleterious to society. Its widespread sanction potentially deprives children of a mother and father. (But perhaps this argument will not be cogent for some who may reply that what matters is that Christians see to it that their families are intact and biblical. If this is your view, read on.) What about Christ’s law of love? What about God’s command to preach the gospel so as to “save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22)? What about the duty of “warning everyone” (Colossians 1:28)? Do we no longer believe in hell, as Jonathan Edwards and Richard Baxter did? If it were the only reason, love of neighbor (Mark 12:31) would be sufficient reason to speak out against the darkness. Do we secretly harbor the attitude, “I’ve got mine, and to hell with everyone else”? Once you allow for the state to sanction same-sex marriage, you have no argument to use against any other kind of perverse configuration of marriage. Polyamorism anyone? Do not imagine that if we capitulate to state-sanctioned same-sex marriage our own civil rights will not be taken away in the end. The signs are already clear in many little ways: After gay marriage is the law of the land, churches (like bakeries and florists) that refuse to perform and bless same-sex marriages will lose their tax-exempt status. This slippage I have observed in the church—from earlier opposition to the state sanction of gay marriage to a more fashionable laissez faire attitude cloaked in the garb of love and compassion and self-flagellation—is very pleasing to the devil and is what C.S. Lewis forewarned of when he spoke inThe Screwtape Letters of the gradual road to hell: “the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts”

2 Peter 3 New King James Version (NKJV)
God’s Promise Is Not Slack 3 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us,[a] the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,[b] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
The Day of the Lord 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night....http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Peter%203&version=NKJV

You are correct, we’re still here, and no man knows the time of the Father’s return. In fact, it may be more likely that our lives could end tomorrow without notice. That’s why it’s so vital to accept Him as our Lord and Savior and live as though today is our last day; stay ready.

Your right. There is no difference between 1A and 3A. UIL classifications are for cosmetic purposes only. 275 lb linemen are no different than 175 lb linemen. The RB from Splendora that is going to A&M is not really fast either. All the coaches also agree that there is no difference between having 30 kids in your program or 100 kids in your program. You can only put 11 on the field at one time.

    http://townhall.com/...icial_stupidity

People are all born ignorant but they are not born stupid. Much of the stupidity we see today is induced by our educational system, from the elementary schools to the universities. In a high-tech age that has seen the creation of artificial intelligence by computers, we are also seeing the creation of artificial stupidity by people who call themselves educators.

Educational institutions created to pass on to the next generation the knowledge, experience and culture of the generations that went before them have instead been turned into indoctrination centers to promote whatever notions, fashions or ideologies happen to be in vogue among today's intelligentsia.

Many conservatives have protested against the specifics of the things with which students are being indoctrinated. But that is not where the most lasting harm is done. Many, if not most, of the leading conservatives of our times were on the left in their youth. These have included Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan and the whole neoconservative movement......

It amazes me how people can be so dismissive of this.

There are plenty of Crisis Pregnancy centers (most Church centered) that provide these services WITHOUT trying to push abortions (which pp does)

If pp could not provide abortions, they would close the doors.

    Just FYI:

    http://www.factcheck.org/2011/04/planned-parenthood/

    From the article:

Planned Parenthood’s chart shows that abortions made up 3 percent of its total services. Another way to measure the group’s abortion services, however, is to divide the total number of abortions by the number of clients. For example, Planned Parenthood said that it “provided nearly 11.4 million medical services for 3 million people” in 2009. Its 2011 fact sheet says it performed 332,278 abortion procedures in 2009. That would mean that roughly one out of every 10 clients received an abortion.

They killed 332,278 babies in 2009...good thing they are only spending 3% of their budget on it.

Wonder how much money they made off of 332,278 abortions?

Make no mistake...planned parenthood is in the abortion business to make money.
