Plusone, you must be one of those parents who believes in giving a kid a time out instead of a good old fashion spanking like the parents of old use to do. I bet you believe everybody gets a trophy too. I will tell you this, if I had done that to a kid when I played my coach would have kicked us off right then and there. Then when I got home my dad would have taken care of it. A lot of kids now days don't know what it's like because of parents thinking their child does no wrong. Heat of the moment or not, a player does not take a helmet off an opponent and hit him in the head with it if he has the right discipline. 

Assault is assault no matter where it happens. The kid should have been ejected and charges pressed against him. Same should happen with the two kids in San Antonio.

The minimum play requirement. I don't know if it has changed from when my son played but it was all kids play minimum of 10 plays. Way to many plays to try and get all 22-24 players in.

That was one of the better LL games you will ever see.  Great finish

I hope Patterson makes the right choice. We saw that he goes with the underdog candidate in football and made, what I think, a good choice. But, this is supposed to be his specialty so let's see where he goes with this.

Not trying to start an argument. Then why were they not in the tournament to begin with?

Please help me understand why a play in team is playing for an 11 seed. My feeling is, if you have to play to get in to the tournament you should automatically play for a 16 seed.

That was the most idiotic play call I have ever seen in my life in a Super Bowl. Even junior league football coaches know if you have a back the caliber of Marshawn Lynch you give it to him at least 3 times. He will get in!!!!!! Just plan stupid!!!!!!.........or does this mean Vegas does really run the show?

I have heard that Reliant would have to add more locker rooms to host it and they refused to add them. That's just the story I heard.

Put the gray crap up. As I said from the beginning, "don't change tradition it will haunt you." The spirit of the reservation has cursed the gray because it is not TRADITIONAL for PNG. maybe the team of the 50s did it and got away with it but purple and white is what has been worn forever. Gray and black do not belong in the color scheme. Two games that meant a lot to winning the district title were cursed by wearing the grays. Not taking anything away from the other two teams because they are good but we played very different when wearing the grays then the traditional colors of PNG.

OVER RATED!!!!OVER RATED!!!!!........where is Kenny "TRIL" Hill? He played one game against an over rated SC and he is deemed the next " GREAT ONE" at A&M. I don't care how young he is he was praised way to much and now it is showing how much it went to his head. I'll take Dak Presscott any day over him. Simms is making it look like Hill should not even be on the same field as him.

They would even make me look like a damn good head coach.....PNG came out in the first half thinking just because they walked on the field they already won. I am a huge PNG fan but I even saw that. Everybody in Mid County was saying it was PNGs year. Even some of Nederlands players were saying it. Barrows and Spell came up with a great game plan and we could not counter and stop it. I am not taking anything away from our boys at PNG because they fought to the end. But, if we would have came out with the enthusiasim at the start of the game instead of waiting till the second half it may have been a different out come.

I agree. Some of the ones on the B team now may just be late bloomers and by the time they are seniors could be the studs. But if they don't play then how can they get better? Through 20 something years of coaching I have seen it happen a number of times.

I understand. Our B team in Groves only plays 4 games. Why even have a B team if that is all they are going to play but practice as much as the A team. My son is A team but I know a lot of the boys on B that I would like to go watch more often.

PNG is purple and white. Quit trying to bring the grey and black into the color scheme. I think it looks like crap. Quit trying to act like Oregon and bring in colors that are not a part of our TRADITION!!!!!!

He said " we don't need to look all snazzy and glamorous to come out here and kick your arse ". Sorry I am old school and believe tradition does not change. That is what tradition is.
