I appreciate the confidence in BH but I just don't know who is the favorite. I think you throw the season records out at this point. Also, teams from different regions face different levels of opposition, and some have much stronger pre-district opponents too. A 32-8 team could be stronger than a 40-0 team, in some circumstances. Its cool Deer Park, BH and Liberty will all be there. I will support them all.

And if you ask the teams in the district who would win state this year from the district if not liberty, many would have said Splendora, who actually won the district title.

So it's possible that 4A district could win state back-to-back years by two different teams!
I wonder if that is more rare than teams winning back-to-back? Seems like it would be. Good luck Huffman!

Panthers come up short, lose 11-8. Didn't go down without a fight, great season guys.

LCM was an upset for two reasons. 
1. Coach with 600 plus wins.
2. LCM has won 55 ballgames over a two year period. Argyle about the only other program that can claim that.
 
With that said, Liberty is having a very fine season of their own. Coach Kirkland has them playing good baseball.

So the two districts split 50/50. Huffman and Liberty advance along with Hardin Jefferson and Bridge City. Good stuff!

That District is extremely tough ! I think 2 of the last 4 State Champions have come out of that district including last years Champ. Makes for a playoff ready team when you can count on having at least 6 very tough games during your District games.

Tough district Liberty is in. 2018 State Champ. Tied for 2nd at end of district...play-in on Tuesday night left them in 4th. Plenty good enough to beat a #1.
