I’m calling Arceneaux the Reaper from now on, he took the life from everyone up 45 on into Dallas. He’s a cold blooded killer with absolutely no regard for human life. Proud to see #12 get first team recognition in football and basketball for his Senior season. Do you guys think they will have any all-district or all-whatever games this year to mix the kids up and watch them play in a showcase game? I’d love to see him play with some studs, he’s really a great role player, defender and facilitator that was trying to carry the load. Hopefully COVID didn’t cancel all that, either way it was a fun season. Even though our team didn’t perform as well as they could have and took too long to get it together, I enjoyed it. So much so that you’ll probably see me lurking around the Vidor games next season and providing some commentary for the SETX people who like to keep up with the Pirates.

You could almost say that all HF basketball teams sucked until recently when that influx of talent came in but that could be proven by looking at past records. Not that anyone would do that, they are just playing by the new rules and it’s only 10 mins from Bmt. Look at Winnie and HJ, Beaumont has plenty of basketball talent to go around. They can’t all start for BU or WB, when they merged Central and Ozen some of those kids had to go play elsewhere. 

Not sure about the HJ part but the whole HF situation was definitely weird. Sure there might have been at least one of those kids that lived in the district the entire time and decided to attend HF after the coaching change. But would he have made that decision if he were the only athlete transferring? IDK. Were all the “move-ins” legitimate? Evidently not according to the UIL decision to make some play JV for a year. Hard to believe that all that swapping to HF (who I think won one game and took 20 plus point losses on the regular the year before) just happened naturally lol 

Isn’t it widely known and basically just accepted that HJ gets kids from Beaumont all the time that don’t live in the district and has for years, and that the HF team got an immediate influx of talent as soon as the new head coach showed up there??

Were you here last season? Seems like you were.  Well, Silsbee had this temperamental player. Good athlete & b baller, but stuff would keep him off the court.  A few posters said this or that and his Mom found out.  She was a verbal brawler.  She got loose on this msg board, about her son, and reading her posts was akin to scratching your fingernails on a chalkboard.  So, with that in mind, I personally just as soon not say anything about any player.  Also, rumor had it a good player was thinking of going to BU instead of SHS.  I'd just soon not aggravate that situation either.  Sticks and stones, as the old saying goes.

One that could be even more scary than a Tiger is the Itasca Wampus Cat.  The illusive and ever deadly wampus cat stalks the prairies south of the Metroplex.  

The Falcons have us in one attribute.  They are the fastest animal.  240mph in a dive.  So I'm pretty sure that keeping them in level flight is a key component Coach Sig's game plan.
