What does the NFL have to do with it? 
Nothing.... BUT, if a player from the NFL assaults someone, I want him arrested. If you haven't noticed, many of them have been. 
As far as the "coming back", they are paid millions by millionaires and are under contract. There is a huge different between a person that you contract and a student that plays a voluntary sport with strict rules on behavior. The comparison with pro sports is just plain silly. A millionaire might be able to hire a great defense team and beat a murder rap. Does that mean we should do away with penalties for murder? 
A mistake is forgetting to do your homework and claiming the dog ate it. Committing what might be an intentional felony assault is not a "mistake". If any of the players is 17, he is already an adult and can face the maximum criminal sentence. I am not suggesting that they should get 20 years in prison but they shouldn't get away with it because, "the NFL doesn't get punished enough" or it was just "a mistake". 

Yeah, the same team that dropped 56 on Kashmere last week. Willis also got us ready, they just won 73-0. 
New Caney is averaging 570ypg and has multiple D1 recruits. Huffman is playing up against s good 21-5A team, they're not going to win by 14. Very likely Central gets New Caney in the first round too.

I just want to take a minute and say how proud I am to be apart of the Lumberton community. I don't if y'all heard about the house fire in Lumberton this past week at about2 in the morning. Well our varsity football boys met at the house at 8 this morning to clean up the debris and everything and within 30 minutes they had filled a huge dumpster with debris and furnishings and worked themselves out things to do! Love my Raiders!

Against NC they spread it out and took advantage of a one on one matchup advantage. That cornerback did not see the field on defense for us after the first quarter. Their QB was a good athlete and they had some big receivers.

Huffman wins and joins the girls team playing the last week of the season for a state championship.

Dillon Harrell from New Caney was announced as one of twelve high school students from around the country named to the Bassmasters 2015 All American Team.

Straddling the plate without the ball is not a good defensive position. The runner has the right to reach the base. Absolutely any malicious contact would warrant an ejection but the runner is not required to slide. I would think the catcher should have positioned herself to catch the ball in front of the plate where she could then drop to block the plate after she has possession. If the catcher does not allow access to the plate prior to having possession of the ball, then obstruction should be called and the runner would be safe at the last base the umpire judged she would have reached without the obstruction. I agree that we need to protect the kids from unnecessary contact. Not sure how the catcher has been taught to receive a throw. If she is taught to straddle the plate, then I'm surprised this is the first time she has been ran into.

I was not there, but know the opposing coach you are talking about well. She coached my older daughter a few years back. I can tell you this, she would not call for this to happen under any circumstance. Also, playing a team like Huffman she would not want to let any base runners reach base as that only calls for more chance of giving up runs. I also do not know the players involved but perhaps their is something outside of high school ball involved. I do not know who was pitching last night. They do have a pitcher on the team that was in Huffmans program last year.

I enjoyed the game. Bell is a quality pitcher. Your SS and lead off hitter is also solid although she only got one hit tonight. Catcher was also solid. Good job to the lady Broncos. Looking forward to the rematch in New Caney. 

Barbay's discipline was a huge factor in their success and turn around.
