  1. Sets up a key game vs Huntington, Diboll wasn’t even picked to make the playoffs this season!
  2. I agree, I’m not from Cleveland area but have seen the explosive growth and development in that area. I don’t have to describe it, you all are familiar and if it’s a generational thing, then time will have to be a mitigating factor where 2nd and 3rd gen’s will have to close the gap, but as you said much harder in the upper classifications. The Hispanics in Diboll are definitely not 1st gen
  3. Great points Cleveland has a very unique situation that I don’t know will improve anytime soon
  4. I didn’t mention state tournament appearances by both baseball and softball just a few years ago. Like someone said, you must have parents involved and a system in place that will foster positive growth and opportunities
  5. I’m pretty sure their big #88 DE was seriously injured (knee) last game vs Diboll. Huge loss for them if that was a season ending injury
  6. Diboll has a large Hispanic population in school system, over 50% and large part of team are Hispanic year over year and they’ve remain competitive for most part, down years past couple seasons but they’ll be back. Just glance at the roster
  7. Diboll has had a decent, if not, competitive pre district schedule with West Rusk, Shepherd, Madisonville and Woodville. They’re def young and down this year but they’ll make a late season surge
  8. I have a feeling it’ll be Diboll vs Hardin 1st round
  9. Any updates from Diboll Jasper scrimmage
  10. Congrats Woodville! From a Diboll fan, happy for y’all!!
  11. Anyone have updates from the Lufkin hoopsfest tournament?
  12. Lufkin has a top Recruit in Austin Brown
  13. Diboll finished up district play with a 36-21 loss at Teague on Friday night to and tied for second place with Fairfield and Teague at 3-2. The Lumberjacks (4-6, 2-3) are the No. 3-seed and will face East Chambers (6-3, 4-2) at 7 p.m. Thursday at Tomball ISD Stadium. East Chambers finished second behind Orangefield in District 10-3A DI. Winner of this one will play winner of Franklin and Halletsville
