It wont happen 19-4a has a better chance beating both teams than 20-4a does, it might come down to 1 and 1 , but I dont see it being both games for 20-4a.
how does 19-4A have a better chance of beating 20-4A in D1? What facts are you basing your statement on?
That Vidor has won two playoff games since they fired those shots on the grassy knoll. I guess since y'all are new to the playoffs you don't realize you don't get to make it out of the first round every year. Your coach went 8-2 and they gave him the coach of the year award, that should let you know what people think of your program. Like y'all like to say when someone brings up the past, "this is a new year." So I'll see your "we beat y'all last year" and raise you "win another one this year". Three years from now after you still have those same two playoff wins since the LBJ era, you'll still be saying "at least we beat Crosby three years ago". Hey though, if I was the laughing stock of the region for a half century I would just get in where I fit in too.

People from Vidor must have got offended when TRocket told them how much of a class act they were. My cousin told me last year when they played Vidor they were saying the same thing. I think everybody is making that up though.
Your team ain't got much room to talk man. Crosby was doing the same thing ( personal fouls, pushing after the play, taunting the vidor players) when we were beating yall by 20 last year in the playoffs.
You're right, plenty of pushing and shoving just like any other game. I was talking about the slurs they were using like TRocket was saying.
 4.
Coog8bronco, that's some of the dumbest stuff I've heard on here.  Is Brenham as good as Lake Travis or SLC, no but we arn't no pushover.  Not ever.....  Overlook us please...  As for playing in SETX, what region is SETX?  I'm pretty sure it's 3, which is the same region we've had so much success in.  As for Crosby, you guys got bounced by us last time we played you, and your biggest accomplishment is beating Dayton once for a district title.  Also, we usually play Houston Lamar, or somebody like that in addition to Huntsville & Montgomery.  Hopefully we'll meet in the playoffs where this can be settled.  Lee was tossed into the loaded SEC as a freshman. (That's what I was referring to, but like I said, SD saw something in him.)
Maybe you're missing what I'm saying. I think Brenham is a great program, I just think if they played in one of the southern districts with Dawson, Friendswood, Texas City or Crosby, BH, Dayton, SC, or Ned, Vidor, Ozen that y'all wouldn't have those 10-0's and 9-1's all the time. I think you would still go to the playoffs and of course go D2, but when you actually have to fight for a playoff position and play hard district games the playoff routes aren't that easy. As for Lee, I was just saying he was at LSU 5 years and couldn't earn the job, Jefferson beat him out and he was average on his best days. Gilbert is going to make and NFL roster too, what are your thoughts of him, if you think he's good then fine? I think you're on BH's side of the brackett but I would love to see it again, last time y'all beat us in the second round by a touchdown 'cause we couldn't hold on to the ball then got destroyed by Dayton in the regional final. I would love to see the rematch but I don't think we could play y'all 'til the 3rd round at the earliest because we all have #1 D2 seeds.
 5. I said "most years Huntsville and Montgomery are the only teams on the schedule you have to worry about." Second, SC did go 9-1 in basically the same district y'all are in now with a bunch of sophomores in their 3rd year of varsity play. What situation was Lee put in, was he cursed with the best running game and defense in the nation? They won inspite of his play. Jarrett Lee is just as good as Garrrett Gilbert, career paths on the same trajectory. Magnolia West does suck this year too, it's crazy that you're arguing they don't. Didn't y'all go 10-0 last year too, only to lose to Ozen (19-4a/20-4a bi-district) in the second round? I know you think Brenham is great because y'all can consistently beat Magnolia and Willis, but like your record shows, if you played in the SETX you would be just another team trying to get out of the bi-district.
Come on dude... Brenham played for a region championship in 08 and State Championship in 09..... Just because they got bounced early a couple times, doesn't mean they aren't a legitimate threat to go deep almost every year. Lee was the QB when they knocked off LM in 05 I believe also....
They are a legitimate threat to go deep most years, but because of where they play they usually don't see a team that can beat them until the regional semis. You get the weaker Austin teams in bi-district every year in the 1st rd and lately lose in the area round. 08 and 09 were great years for Brenham, 2005-2011 were pretty run of the mill in playoff terms though.
Not too sure about that.  Whoever gets Georgetown in the second round is in for a fight.  When thinking of a nuetral sight between the Houston and Austin area, one main venue comes to mind.  ;) It could possibly be a show down at Cub Stadium.  ;D
I know it's worse in 5a but here's another one of my stats. Last two years in 5a Georgetown was 7-13, now they somehow make the 4a cutoff and start punishing people. Three largest shcools in the region Summer Creek, Georgetown, and Dawson are all undefeated and have over 2000 kids.
Last year is done though.  It's like me saying Brenham is a top team in the state.  We were the past few years, but kids graduate.  Georgetown is pretty darn good this year.
None of Dawson's kids graduate, hard for them to lose a game in 4a? The last 5 years Travis won state in 4a none of their players graduated? Manvel didn't have an advantage on Dayton last year? If coaching is relatively equal those 6 or 700 extra kids make a big difference. Brenham does have good talent, my cousin told me Brown is already the third best tackle on the team as a true freshman. Even though he was rated second I thought he was the best d-tackle in the country after watching him at the All-America game. Let's be honest though, Brenham gets a big advantage with the district y'all play in and you always go D2. Only two team you have to worry about on the schedule most years are Huntsville and Montgomery. I think if y'all played down here that record wouldn't look so pristine.
Dawson and Manvel are just full of talent.  Who cares how big they are though?  So what, if they are deeper than we are.  We can play with and occasionally beat both of them.  If you don't believe me, ask songone.  it looks pretty even when we scrimmage every year.  As for LT....  $ = $ucce$$, and they have a lot of both.  Brown was the nation's #2 DT, but during the all-American game practices he had already passed Goldsmith.  After it was all said and down, he was eventually ranked #1.  They showed the practices on ESPNU.  As far as our district goes, we don't just win din district games.  In the last 4 years were 40-6 all together.  That's district, non-district & playoffs combined.  I'd say we do well no matter who we play.  TAPPS 4AD2 to 5A, we beat more than 90% of the teams we play.  BTW, we go D2 cuz we have to.  Heck, we have 1,436 kids, and are the eighth biggest of the nine schools in 18-4A.
These are the rankings after the Under Armour game. [Hidden Content] These are the final rivals rankings. [Hidden Content] Like I said, they never ranked him #1 but it doesn't matter because he still has the opportunity to be a first round pick. I agree the money makes you more successful (Travis, Allen, Carroll, Highland Park), but when you're like La Marque and have Dawson with 2000+, Friendswood 2000+, Manvel 2000+, if you lose a player or two you are at a severe disadvantage. La Marque finishes 3rd in the district with 3a numbers, then goes to the regional final in D2 where they play teams with like enrollments and eventually lose to their district rival Manvel again. You can OCCASIONALLY play with them, not play them every year in the first round and win. A prime example is the the 2010 season when Brenham went 10-0 in the regular season and lost in the first round to KP. The same KP team Dayton (7-3 regular season) beat by 32 the next week. Brenham is a great program, try not overstate your place though. There's a reason Lee was highly recruited out of Brenham and sucked once he got to LSU, his level of high school competition wasn't what they thought it was.
Lee played against top talent at Brownwood & Brenham. Guess he sucked so bad, that he's part of the the Chargers organization.  It is the practice squad, but still.  Your crazy if you think he's not good.  He had a rough time at LSU, cuz of the situation he was thrown in to.  Anyways, Malcom was #1 on The Old Coach last year, but I'm sure he's already on his way to proving the naysayers wrong, that thought differently.  Ask big bad SC how good Magnolia West was last year?  That's right, the team you say is so horrible and is from the district you say is overrated, destroyed 19-4A's powerful SC team.
First of all, I never said your district was overrated. I said "most years Huntsville and Montgomery are the only teams on the schedule you have to worry about."
trap game?
A trap game is Thursday night, on the road, playing a team that should be a layup and almost losing. Crosby got lulled into the trap that KP sucks even though they're 6-4. I don't think this is a trap game. You got SC at home in Dayton with most expecting Dayton to lose (except Dayton fans). I read somewhere this is one of the 4 undefeated matchups left in the state, I think everybody is watching this one.

I think Chambers would benefit the team better not behind the center.  This should have been done earlier in the year IMO.  I think the coaches are still struggling on who to put back there and this is why Dayton's offense is night and day on Friday nights.  Sling the ball down field instead of lateral plays.
I agree..
May, why don't they use your pics on the Toups predictions? I waited until they changed it from the Crosby pic to complain so y'all wouldn't think that's the reason why, but you can hardly see any detail in the pictures.
 10.

Since Angleton destroyed Foster Friday, they will likely play Friendswood and Foster will get Dawson.  Angleton still has to beat Terry but that won't be a problem.  I'm calling a Foster over Dawson upset!!!!
Terry is going to be hard to beat. Yes, their defense isn't playing all that great, but they have a great offense that can score in bunches. Also they had their bye week last week and should be ready for us. We'll see. I was surprised that Foster was manhandled they way they were. Coach Wiatrek is a good coach, but Coach Roark and his staff made adjustments after the half and literally dominated the Falcons. Wiatrek didn't have an answer for that. with that said, Foster is a real solid team and will give problems to whoever they play.
How did Angleton lose to George Ranch? GR lost to the 5th place team in 19-4a, was it just an off night for Angleton?
 11. Why did they lock the Livingston vs Vidor or the "smh" thread? People from Vidor must have got offended when TRocket told them how much of a class act they were. My cousin told me last year when they played Vidor they were saying the same thing. I think everybody is making that up though.
 12. The run game is sick. Looks like we're working on our passing game though. Special teams needs some improvement before the playoffs, we just had a one yard punt inside our own 30 but the D held. Doesn't look like Humble is going to score with the 1's in. I'm looking for Crosby to pull starters if they tack on a couple more touchdowns.
 13. I think this is a big game also, maybe not for the same reasons though. This game ABSOLUTELY gets us the # 1 D2 seed. Even if we were to lose to Porter, BH already has three district losses and Porter would be our third but we would have the head to head. King opened the game with an onsides kick which they recovered and it seemed like we started kind off flat. D held them scoreless on that drive and held them to 145 total yards all night with the shutout. The King D isn't that bad, the held Dayton in check and played us with at least 8 in the box all night. King is a big school and has some solid athletes, didn't surprise me their D played the way it did. I really don't think we were flat against KP either. We got the opening kick and drove right down the field but got two penalties called on us inside the 5. I think they called 9 penalties on us in the first half and 118 penalty yards total. The second half Crosby came out and did what they been doing all season, put together a half that leaves you saying "if they could do this for 4 quarters they could make a run."
 14. Just talked to my Dayton insider. He told me Dayton played the worse game he's ever seen and it really wasn't the BH defense. Said the qb walked off from a coach explaining something to him and that's why he was pulled. Said Dayton had receivers open all night and he wouldn't pull the trigger. So my question to Dayton fans is, if y'all had receivers open all night how was the BH defense salty? He told me before the season "if Dayton had a qb we would make a run". He said that position was a ? and y'all murdered me for repeating that. He also said the other qbs are backups and they're backups for a reason if you know what I mean. Maybe you should say Dayton played a bad game and didn't execute instead of saying the BH defense got salty all of a sudden. I'm sure you will have a different excuse after SC puts 40 on them.
 15. He got loose in North Crosby and had been roaming around Chambers county the last two years killing Eagles. They finally caught him in Buna latched on to a Bronco. Game warden had to take him out before he got the the regional final.

I feel like the Bears winning and finally making the playoffs again would be considered an upset. I do believe the Bears have a good chance to win this one, but the old x factor is always lurking close by in every game. Go Bears, it will be great to see LC-M back in the play offs. After Central, we have to sink the mighty Black Pearl at Bear stadium......Joking Vidor fans, just joking, lol.
So is this really a 4th place game or can something else happen? Both of these teams are going to lose next week but will that have any effect on who makes it? Also, since we can't play Central, is it too early to start the LCM vs Crosby ish talking?
Might want start thinking about another Vidor beat down if LCM does'nt win. It's Wed. Night better start praying now.
