[/quote]I understand our defense sucks but you do know that evey team Crosby and Dayton have played Crosby has had more yards and other than the BH game has allowed less yards. Crosby has had a field day running the ball on BH two years in a row. It doesn't matter what they change on defense they can't stop us. Dayton couldn't throw those bombs and thus realized your offense isn't that great. You played a close game with a team we blew the doors off of, and we played a close one with a team y'all blew the doors off of. You're just kind of annoyed that Crosby put 450 on both teams but now we suck even worse when Dayton couldn't move the ball on them. Just a tough district. And on the prediction thing I was wrong about the Ned and Dayton games but I wasn't going to predict a loss. I thought we would lose to SC but the KP game was bs. The gave KP all 21 pts on bad calls and took about 14 from us. Only people on this site with the memory or credentials to correct me are Liltex and MBG. I was all-district twice and first team senior year at Crosby, had several FBS offers but had to go South Dakota State because of grade issues, 7 of 11 uncles and 6 of 9 cousins played college football (one uncle made the Dolphins roster one year with another playing 9 years in the CFL), was asked to stay and be a g.a. after earning my economics degree along with being offered a 7th grade offensive coordinator position at Aldine middle school. I may have been wrong on some predictions, heck even the people that do it for a living are wrong a lot, but the last thing you can say is I don't know what I'm talking about.

Going to be very hard to stay within shouting distance if BH can't keep the clock moving by gaining 3 or 4 yards at a time. The SC defense is a lot bigger and faster than Dayton and BH could only manage 168 yards on the Broncos. BH fell victim to the Crosby curse of winning everywhere accept the scoreboard, Dayton only had 104 total yards before the Chambers run. It's probably best to keep Denny out until the first round. Y'all should be able to beat New Caney without Denny.

[/quote]Why do you keep saying he'll be running for his life and throwing interceptions? He has 25 tds to 3 picks. He has the best o-line and receivers in 19-4a also. Your mouth is going to fall open when you see how big and athletic they are in the trenches. They have on of the best d-tackles I've ever seen on the high school level, kid is very disruptive. Sharp is almost 6-3 so he can easily see over the line, not to mention he's probably faster than any one Ned's team. Fastest kids I saw were Shaw and Hopkins and Sharp's faster than both. Ned's #6 in the state because they started at #12, SC and Dayton are highly touted now because of their work on the field.

Ned has a great D-line and SC drops back a lot so they would have opportunities to pressure Sharp. Dayton has a more balanced attack so 90 and 92 wouldn't get as many game changing opportunities. Dayton is Vidor's best matchup though. Dayton has had a bit of difficulty stopping the run this year which is all Vidor does. SC would throw Vidor right out of their offense, if Ned's d-line could hold Vidor to 13 pts I'm hard pressed to see how they get more than that on the Bulldogs. Ned's O put 20 on Vidor with only one kid that would start on SC's team (Hopkins) so I would expect them to put at least 30 on the Pearl. I think Dayton or SC play Dawson for the regional title.

La Marque and Manvel did it last year.

Nederland and Vidor would have to knock off Dayton and Summer Creek in the first round, but could play in the regional final (4th) round.

Don't y'all feel a little nervous right now? I know I did last night, for different reasons but still the same overall concern. Scary game last night, last Thursday game we had was a first round exit. In games in the "tri-city" area though the tension is significantly ramped up. Let's be honest, we don't hate Summer Creek. We just want to beat them like any other team on the schedule, they just happen to be really good. After the Crosby-Dayton-Barbers Hill games though you know if your team looses it's not just another loss, it's egg on your face and crow on your plate. You have to see those glue sniffers or all that bourgeoisie blue at work, you can't wear your team shirt in the other Wal-Mart, you know you can't make a post without them telling you how bad you suck for the next two weeks. You love sportsmanship and don't want anybody to get hurt but would much rather see a 42-7 arse kicking than a 24-21 nail biter. Glad ours is over. Good luck to both teams, play a healthy game. I HAVE SEEN THE VIDEO and it was NOT a catch... it hit his hands and popped up by his face mask as he was going out of bounds then regained the catch out of bounds... led to 7 points on 3rd down. that was not the only missed call.. the punt clearly hits a full yard in front of the receiver and bounces back to a KP defender. . this should have gave the coogs the ball on the 50 yd line... yet gave to KP led to another TD for KP.. Crosby QB fumble in the red zone shows his knee down before the ball comes out....also on the first scoring drive by KP there was a fumble which the refs blew dead... not even close the QB was still going forward and standing when the ball popped out... Coogs recover... again... not making this up... I have seen the video.. So 21 of 21 of their points were off missed calls by the refs... Also at half 3 penalty on KP -10 on the coogs ... very one sided... I would never blame the refs for a loss.. but they were VERY bad.... Not like we would see Brenham and say "man, they're faster than Dayton and Summer Creek". This district has speed in the boneyard. I bet King has bigger and faster athletes than Brenham, they were right behind SC as far as the all-shorts team went but they also have about 700 more kids than Brenham, just kind of lacking direction. From looking at the recruiting websites King has three players who could play FBS football. Trust me, the cubs speed won't be anything we haven't seen before.

They said Aston fumbled inside the 20 when his knee was down and they showed it on the replay screen (at least once they did), KP scored. They said our player touched a punt and KP recovered. Replay shows he didn't though. The td they gave KP one their opening drive of the second half the kid fell out of the endzone and was laying on the ground, the nearest ref signaled incomplete but the umpire came running in and overruled for the td. The KP fans all said "augh", then the ref by the play got overruled and they started cheering. I bet Crosby had over 150 yards in penalties, most of which were extremely questionable. KP got 4 timeouts at the end of the game too, the sidejudge from Crosby's side came running on the field with 3 fingers up when KP called a timeout but the referee held up 2 and waved him off. Please, Vidor fan always jump on our threads because Crosbys is one of the two playoff wins (only two) Vidor has since the Cold War. 3 missed fgs equals 9 pts, Crosby had it on the 1 and 3 yardline but got penalized and ended up with 3 pts from all of that. Missing 14 pts is what I would call a wasted opportunity. And as far a first round playoff exits go, YOU HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND ONCE SINCE KENNEDY WAS ASSASSINATED AND WHEN DAYTON OR SUMMER CREEK BOX YOUR FACE IN IN THE FIRST ROUND YOU'LL BE DISAPPEARING . . . . . Just stirring the pot here, but who finishes second if BH, Dayton, and Crosby all finish 6-2 in the district?
