All you have is negative things to say about a team that beat the crap out of crosby. Crosby had more offensive yards than dayton and sc and got killed both games. If I was a crosby fan thats what I would be worried about.
Not negatives, just reality. Crosby has most likely played the hardest schedule in the region, definitely in the district with the last 3 opponents being a combined 13-1. 17 and 24-4a look like they have some good teams that could be D2 in the playoffs but depending on the draw it is very possible to see a BH vs Crosby game at Stallworth in the state quarterfinals.
now I know you have lost your mind. Go see a doctor quick.
Which part? Crosby and BH first round playoff games will be the hardest 'til the d2 quarterfinals. I don't know how good Connally and Georgetown are, but those two and Texas City are the only teams in the D2 playoffs Crosby or BH wouldn't be favorites on. If Friendswood doesn't make the playoffs in 24-4a were talking Lee or GCM. Brenham and Montgomery are down this year so it looks like the stars aligned for the 19 or 20-4a D2 teams. Crosby finally gets to see what it feels like to play easier teams in the first two rounds of the playoffs than the first two weeks of district.

Vidor and Nederland are going D1 with SC and Dayton. Central has the most kids in the district but they won't make the playoffs. Ned and Angleton's hardest games are each other. Crosby has played 3 of the top 13 teams in the state according to the AP and 4-1 BH. Ned's schedule is close with Angleton and Vidor but I think Crosby's has been harder to date. With the likes of New Caney, Humble and Porter in the near future Crosby's s.o.s will definitely take a nose dive but they will easily handle the remaining 5 opponents. Dayton is going to get some of what Crosby just got through with, BH, SC and Ned in consecutive weeks. Now try to play three perfect games in a row.
 3. Since the thread is already hijacked         Dayton 27         Barbers Hill 38
Crosby could definitely win by how ever many they wanted but they need to work on the passing game. Crosby trying to throw it all over the field might not produce as many points Friday night as just handing it to Austin would, that's why you probably won't see a Willis-like score. I think Riordan would rather call these next 5 games in preparation for Ozen or Livingston.

So on that game im hopin no RAIN hit us so bh can play SC in a good match up
It didn't rain last year. Y'all are 1-4 against Crosby the last 5 years, it rained once. Crosby went up and down the field on BH in the first half, just had a dropped td and one called back 'cause the Hill and Crosby guy were fighting behind the play and they called a hold on the Coogs. Barbers Hill had one sustained drive, and that ended in a field goal. O'neal broke one then got shut down, Denny fumbled trying to give it to O'neal and broke it out the back door on a busted play for the last score in the 2nd quarter. Other than that the Hill got completely waxed. Saying that I think y'all beat Dayton 35-31 if y'all don't let them throw bombs over your head.                         BH 42  Humble 14
your funny. Dayton scored 35 on crosby the first half. Just lucky yall dont have to play dayton till next year. 5 of 6 dayton tds were sophmores. So it looks like another beating next year. Oh yeah bh45-7 over humble
Like you said, y'all aren't playing Crosby 'til next year. Who cares about the 35 in the first half? Barbers Hill beat King 47-14. Dayton scored 24 points and was anemic on offense against King. Some game just don't match up well. Last year BH beat Dayton, this year they will again because Dayton can't stop the run. Crosby ran for 288 on about 40 carries. Dropped td by #88, fumbles and picks by Aston, another dropped td by #15 and there you have it. Dayton capitalized on it like a good team does and won the game. Crosby is a big play team, they turn it over a few times or have costly penalties and they're probably going to lose. BH just runs and runs and runs, Dayton can't defend the run that's why BH beat the Broncos last year, that's why I think they will do it again. Barbers Hill has problems defending the big play but unless Dayton gets more 96 yard tds on 3rd and 35 then your looking at the kind of offense they have been every other game besides Crosby which is mediocre at best. The little McBride had 126 yards rushing on 15 carries I think but he broke about a 60 yarder. Dayton fans will tell you he could have went for 250, but the truth of the matter is Chambers is scared for his life back there. BH you don't ever have to worry about him keeping it on a zone read, if BH doesn't get beat deep Dayton just doesn't have a lot of options. That sounds crazy after the 45-21 whipping the Coogs got but just look at Dayton's games. One good game on offense, 4 very average. Crosby on the other hand has outgained everyone they played, just too many mistakes. I would say after the BH game Dayton posters would realize this but I know they'll just make excuses like last year, so I'll make my fearless prediction and say Dayton finishes 8-2(6-2) draws Ned in the first round and loses in Beaumont. BH and Crosby go D2 and don't see a good team 'til the third round. I know that probably just made Bronco fan spit his wintergreen all over the monitor.
That seems to coincide with 1 game with the full compliment of players on offense.  What was the quote about Crosby's d not giving up more than 17 points to anyone this season??  45-21....
Did they have them against CE King? 260 yards of total offense, 6 passing yards with 1 turnover. Looks like every other game besides Crosby. I guess the other 4 games are the flukes, Crosby game is what Dayton really is? BH scored 6 tds on offense against King, Dayton scored 2 and was outgained by King. I know Dayton fan will say the game was over in the first quarter and they were coasting though. Giving up all that yardage on D will eventually come back to bite Dayton, maybe in the form of back to back losses to BH and Creek. Wouldn't be good for Dayton to go into the first round against Ned on a two game losing streak. Crosby has lost two in a row but gets to ride a 5 game winning streak into the playoffs.

He's only a junior like most of the offense but if he can hold on to a few going forward I expect the scholarship offers to start piling up. In Riordan's system he's going to get every opportunity to put up numbers. It's not just him though, it's most of Crosby's receivers, he's just is the one that always seems to be dropping touchdowns. Got 5 practice games to get it right though.
I actually thought #15 put himself  in great position to make a play. While our DBS watched him do it...we have good receivers but they drop a lot of balls too. They didn't that game though. Just like our Qb sometimes throw bad balls....so it's a work in progress....
Yeah, just glad Crosby doesn't see y'all 'til next year. I'm picking Summer Creek and Dawson to play in the D1 quarterfinal round. Y'all are probably a little bigger than Dawson over all but Dawson seems to have a little more team speed from the times I saw Crosby play them. Should that matchup come to fruition it would be the game of the year in region 3.

Only 28 because Riordan is going to try and line out the passing game. Walter had 176 on 10 catches this week, Singleton had 196 on ten catches against Dayton but Crosby doesn't have the air raid clicking yet though. I think Riordan pulls Austin once he breaks 1000 rushing on the season and he probably pulls Aston once he breaks 1000 passing.
Crosby NEEDS to be able to throw the ball. It kept them in the game against SC in the first half. I doubt Riordan gives a rip about their ydg totals though.  He'll pull them to keep them healthy when they have lead enough to win.
Crosby piled up 330 through the air on SC, so they can definitely throw it, they just need to practice catching it. I don't think Creek dropped one ball, that's what makes them elite. Crosby can easily rush for 350 yards on New Caney and blow them out but I think Riordan knows he has a layup so he's going to put the ball in the air in preperation for the playoffs. Austin's probably at 800 and something yards so he could be pulled not long after the end of the first quarter. Expect at least 250 through the air and another 250 on the ground during trash time.
 12.
No bh will beat dayton(he hopes) because crosby cant. Being a crosby fan who by the way usually has the 2 smallest kids on the field would know size has nothing to do with being a good football player. Also to the crosby fan. It was 35-13 at halftime. Dayton could have put up 50+ but coasted second half because the game was over. Dayton didnt even play the kid that had 200 yds against crosby in the first half at all in the 4th quarter.
Hope you mean Chambers (289) passing. Nobody had 200 anything else on Crosby. Singleton did have 121 receiving yards on Dayton though, and that's with his butter fingers.

Creek is going to roll Barbers Hill, they just don't have the athletes to stay with Dogs. Hill had a problem with Crosby at line of scrimmage, SC is in a whole different stratosphere. I know you think the Crosby game was a fluke but now they have 5 layups in a row. Take out KP and Crosby's remaining opponents have 3 combined wins. Crosby will finish the season 7-3(6-2) with the only losses to #8 Nederland, #11 Dayton (maybe top ten this week), and SC who along with Dawson has to be the odds on favorite for the 4a-D1 state title. Looks like Crosby and BH will be going to the small 4a playoffs so y'all could potentially get another whipping in late November or early December so be careful asking for that re-do. Y'all were lucky to get that 17 you put up, but even luckier to hold Crosby to 35.
Whoa... Do what?!?! Dawson's earned that ranking.... Through several years of good/talented teams. Just because SC throttled you guys.... (with almost the exact boxscore that dayton did), doesn't put them in that class. Not saying they won't get there, but Angleton and Nederland, just to name a couple will have plenty to say about who gets out of this region in D1. oh..... and BH wins this one by 3.
Barring injuries the SC vs Dayton final score will look like the Crosby vs SC score except without Dayton having more yards than SC. Crosby doesn't have a good pass defense, but niether does Dayton. Creek doesn't have any respect because they're a new school just like Dawson was. We played Dawson a lot of times so I see what kind of talent they have. Crosby lost 56-36 to Dawson one of the years they lost to Travis in the semi-finals. SC is bigger and faster than any of those Dawson teams. I was suprised to see how small Dayton was, even smaller than Barbers Hill which is why Dayton will probably lose two in a row to them. SC will put more yards on Dayton than Crosby did, except they won't drop tds or fumble it all over the field. I'm not knocking Dayton, especially since there's no chance of Crosby seeing Dayton anymore this year, I'm just saying the only close game SC would play in this area is North Shore and that's not a possibility. Dayton is giong to finish in a three way tie for second and play Nederland in the first round of the D1 playoffs. Could be one a done for the Bronco's this year.

Want to start off by saying "DAYTON SUX". Not worried about losing to the Creek, they have 2000 and something kids so they'll be 5a at the next realignment. They should win the district with almost double the enrollment of BH. Should be a downpour in Crosby Friday night. Hopefully-Sharp can't throw a wet ball as well. Last two rain games I went to we beat BH 35-17 and Dayton 28-0. Gotta keep hope alive.
Hey what the weather chances? I can't get my hair all messed up, just had it done. I'm hearing Sharp is out for tomorrows game, but we are definitely balanced on offense ;)
If Sharp really isn't playing y'all will get rolled, Crosby has a much superior running game. We almost ran for 300 yards on that great Dayton defense. They're loaded, ask them. Forecast from fox this a.m. said they expect heavy rain in the area Friday night. If that's true Crosby might rain on Creek's district hopes too.
cougar14 you came back! ;D ;D
14 is my boy, I work up here with him and it's killing him not to dispute some of the garbage on here so I made me a username. We always read it but I never have posted 'til today. I wouldn't call 288 yards and 6+ ypc a good job though.
