There are many programs, in our local area that have not had much of any success. There are a few schools, that have no even made the playoffs in 50 plus years.
There are schools that have never won a playoff game. There are schools like Hardin, that has only won 1. Hardin's past is what it is. Nobody is on here bragging about Hardin's football success.

First of all boy I'm a grown man, A clown would be someone hired to teach you 7 on 7 moron. You were the Clown whining about funding & catering. Seems to me you have a slackers mentality. Bottom line is, there is no data that proves 7 on 7 makes you a better team. Yes, more reps at a certain thing does generally get positive results. I guess one could argue that instead of doing 7 on 7, how about just hitting the weight room hard and work on regular football drills. 7 on 7 is taking away from other things. Also there is the argument of the running teams not doing 7 on 7, just the teams that will throw a whole bunch. Furthermore, I believe doing anything related to football is always good. Heck I like 7 on 7, just don't believe all the hype.

I think LSU is Lamar State University. Usually referred to as LU.

I dont put much stock on 7 on 7, never have never will. The only way i would put any kind of acceptance to it is if they lined up 11 on 11.Its not real till you hit the field on Friday nights and go head to head. Just a glorified timing drill with qb and wideouts against secondary coverage if you ask me,  more or less just bragging rights. Parents save your money send them to camps, get a lot more out of camps than bragging rights for something that means absolutely nothing. :blink:

If you guys are trying to compete in State 7on7, it's equally expensive for all who participate; furthermore it's a separate entity from HS football & is paid for by parents of kids participating so I don't see the gripe. I suggest you guys get your pennies saved up or get to fundraising. Whining isn't allowed in 7 on 7 either. To the smart guy talking about " not talking about scrimmage". This was a suggestion for you to save money. I hope you aren't the "small school" representative. Sheeeez some people

If someone can be blamed, it would be the UIL. This redistricting was probably one of the biggest toss ups i've seen in a while. For a lot of teams most schools had in predistrict became district games. I'm sure it was more of a scramble than we could imagine. 

No one really blame. If it can't be worked out then it just can't be worked out. I was given a different reason from both Tarkington and Hardin.

I was wondering about HD not being on the schedule as well. It's hard getting a straight answer for the HD camp. This match up has always be competitive amoung the kids even the games where the score didn't reflect a close game. Plus its a big boost in Crowds. I was def disappointed it wasn't schedule.

Huntington will give Hardin all they want come Sept. 5th.
