Sure does. But when I cut my back field, it doesn't mean I'm working my job.

President bush took 77 trips to his Crawford ranch, at one point staying for 5 weeks straight. He racked up 879 days of vacation while Obama is around 150. Obama generally plays once a week, I'm sure on a closed course, so he probably zips through in a couple of hours. I don't really see the point here.

With the BISD funding concerns I think it could be reasonable to request a 10-20% funding cut without doing too much damage to any program.

Why is it harder for you to believe that a criminal who had just committed an assault and robbery might assault an officer than it is for you to believe that an officer with 6 years of spotless service would shoot an unarmed teen for no reason?

If that's the case, I'm not sure where the outrage should come from.

Was Wagner unarmed? I didn't see it in the article.

No matter which one you think is smarter, both get significantly dumber when you put them in a social situation with a large group of their peers.

I went on a ridealong with TVC this weekend. Not much was going on, so we were riding around and we saw a car stopped in the turn lane with a person inside and a couple of people around the car. They happened to be black. He turned his car around and approached them to see what was going on. He then found out the car was dead, and he and I helped them push it out of the road into a parking lot. All of that to say, it looked very suspicious, and even though they were in fact doing nothing wrong, he still had to check out. Police are paid to check out suspicious situations. And while he might have been criticized for "harassing them" had they been doing something wrong, had he driven by without stopping and there was a shooting victim in the driver's seat, imagine the outrage. I've also ridden with him enough to know that had the occupants in the car been white, he would've done everything exactly the same.

Apparently the cop who shot brown's dad lives in Orange. Not sure if the cop is from setx though.

Kind of gives him a good reason to lie, though, doesn't it? Regardless of the outcome of the investigation into the shooting, there is no way the police can ever bring charges against him. Protesters will claim it's retaliation, despite the clear video evidence.

Did the medical examiner examine the cop for a sign of a struggle? He's claiming to have been punched in the face... I'm not sure what happened, and witnesses and evidence are conflicting, but until a clearer picture of what actually happened emerges, I'm going to go ahead and give the benefit of the doubt to the officer with the spotless record rather than to the young criminal fresh off his latest felony.

The public is so outraged by the police acting like "military", they had to call in the actual military.  now they're about to see what military really looks like.

Lets get an honest portrayal of the victim. I personally have no idea what happened when Brown was confronted by the policeman. But the media and protesters have made this all about the "innocent victim" with "no criminal record" who's "about to go to college." When you look at it like that, it's hard to believe that he would get into an altercation with a cop, and makes it much more believable that the cop might have shot him down without provocation. BUT when you see a video of him assaulting a store clerk while stealing something, and then find out it happened minutes before he got into the altercation, it changes things a bit. A) It shows us that he's not the perfect kid who would never do anything wrong, and B ) it gives a very reasonable explanation as to why he might get into an altercation with a cop, as he might very well think he's about to be arrested. What's bad is that there are those who choose to ignore these facts, because they're absolutely positive that a white officer with 6 years on the force with no problems got up that morning and decided to shoot him a black guy. To me this video at least should be enough for people to step back and wait and see what evidence comes out before making judgement, especially since the main witness was involved in the same robbery. The cop may very well be in the wrong, but I'm believing more and more that Brown did initiate a confrontation with the cop. Now whether or not the amount of force used was appropriate is in doubt, but I'd sure like to hear more evidence before I give a verdict. This video is a perfect example of why we should wait... Because 24 hours ago he was a perfect kid who'd never done anything wrong in his life, and now it's been shown that he committed a felony just minutes before he was shot.

If my understanding of the situation is correct, he wanted the DA gone, and when she wouldn't resign he denied funding to a program she was involved in? If that's the case, then it sounds like the indictment is warranted. On the flip side, if Obama denied a legit program funding because he had a beef with a republican involved with the program, there would be outrage, and someone would soon post a westernjournalism article all about how crooked it was.

Most important part of the talk: if you don't commit crimes and don't roam the streets in the middle of the night, very few cops will try and find a reason to stop you, regardless of your race.
