OSU made two freethrows at the 13:30 mark to finally get on the board in the 2nd half. Texas currently leads 46-35. Augustin is 6-9 from the field, and 5-7 from three point range for 20 points. If he keeps shooting like this, there may be no stopping Texas.

Even as a Hawks fan, the two best teams are BC and Jasper until they are proven otherwise. If HJ goes and beats either one of them, then maybe we have a legit argument.

There are certainly players in this area that could play for Lamar. It's not like Lamar is a marquee school. Why not take a chance on some of these local kids that are going JUCO and see if they can help your squad. I know that the superstars from this area are going to leave and go to big name schools, but it's not like the superstars from other areas are coming here. Why not get the solid players from this area before you waste the time and resources going after kids of similar talent levels that are in other states. This will give the community added incentive to go to the games. It may also help lure local superstars into playing as well. If they already have teammates from HS playing at Lamar, they may be a little more willing to stay at home and play with their friends or guys that they've played against in district.

He shot an even round yesterday, and without starting his second round yet, is currently 7 shots back. I figure he probably has this one in the bag.

ESPN has Arizona State listed as the last team in, but they are currently losing to USC at the half of their quarterfinal game. If they lose, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in the NIT. 7 teams from the PAC-10 seems like a team too many.
