Lincecum deserved this thing hands down. Can you imagine if he'd been on a good team? what's he looking at then, 25 wins?
18-5, 2.62 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 265 K's, 227 IP
he started 33 games this year... of the 15 games he lost or got a ND, 9 times he allowed three or fewer runs while going 5 or more innings. Anybtime he did have a bad outing and give up 4 or 5 runs, his offense never bailed him out. How many times did Beckett or Cliff Lee allow 5 or 6 and still get a win? If he was playing for a team with a real offense, he might have gone 26-3. What an arm!
