  1. I am glad I am wrong but just had that hunch. I have said all along that no one wants to play Jasper...........I was right.......now my team is playing them and I dont want to play them > > > > P.S. My broadcasting standards are very low...................with that said I think your great!!!!! :-* :-* aaawwww.... hugs n kisses!
  2. i was impressed hard to blame the boys for being excited.
  3. gonna keep my reverse jinx going. Jasper by 5.
  4. GREAT game for Jasper. Congrats on a great season for Silsbee. I bit my nails all through this one!
  5. great game to watch! the hawks did just enough to win, so what more can we ask for???
  6. Yates is a monster, but Livingston is playing great ball right now, and peaking at the right time. i don't think Livingston has much of a chance to win, but i think they keep it under 20, and lose 84-65.
  7. bullets13 will be there, and i'll be happy to SUPERVISE while you carry in your broadcast equipment.
  8. i'll be there tonight. not sure if my buddy is gonna want to stick around for the second game, but i'm hoping to convince him!
  9. i agree, Trey was getting pounded, but... if they aren't calling the contact, quit trying to force the ball in and trying to draw it. gustafson and benard also missed layups where it appeared they were fouled, but the refs are a lot more likely to call it if the player making the drive is under control, and not careening wildly through the lane.
  10. If HJ can reduce the number of wild drives that they make into double and triple teams, i like there chances against pretty much anyone. gustafson, burrell, and benard all played big roles in the hawks win last night, but they still probably missed fifteen wild, flailing layups between them. when they make an extra pass or two, as they also did about fifteen times last night, they pick defenses apart and get wide open layups instead of stumbling double pump reverses.
  11. OU NC Pitt Michigan State Cinderella Team: Mizzou
  12. I hate you. easy!!! i have no dogs in this fight. good luck to both teams
  13. Their starting lineup is '6"3, '6"5, '6"5, '6"8 and '6"11. Good Luck! ;D liar... their PG is 6'2'', and their 3-guard is only 6'4". you nailed the other three, though.
  14. Hey Kenny, you go through names like i go through venereal diseases.
  15. that's a very good question!!!
  16. a slight edge means they win by 4!?!?
  17. Upset special, Silsbee 3-1.
  18. i didn't like that either, and it dang near cost them the win.
  19. gonna keep going with what got us here, the old reverse jinx. Hudson by 4, 73-69.
  20. Turner was a beast tonight. he had probably 10 steals. Benard scored a lot, but i've never seen a player that was involved in so many borderline block/charging plays. Ricossa played really well. I think he had 8 points, but 4 or 5 blocks and several key rebounds. I was not particularly impressed with the officiating tonight, going both ways. several key travel and carrying calls were made at crucial times, and many were borderline, while other more blatant offenses went unnoticed. Cleveland is going to be VERY tough next season. Not sure what many of their fans were thinking when they made their exit with the indians down 5 with about a minute left in regulation. #4 took over in the 2nd quarter and hit 3 quick 3's to keep Cleveland in it, and they have a good post presence down low, although Ricossa did well to neutralize him after the 1st quarter. all in all, a great game to watch, and i'm glad that the hawks are moving on!
