Rudder had a shot rim out that would've cut it to six.  another solid quarter for the tigers.  i'm sure they're fine with breaking even during the 3rd quarter.  it's going to be a tough job for Rudder to try and outscore the Tigers by 10 in the 4th.

18 seconds left in the 3rd, rudder has cut it back to 49-40.

Josh should be all-district.  he's really solid.  i wish we could see how good he would've been had he been playing his whole life.  when you watch him, it's tough to believe he's only played a couple of years.

HUGE 2nd quarter for the Tigers!!!  It sounds like Rudder has done a pretty decent job holding their own, but they can't stop Silsbee from penetrating, and have not answer for their size down low.  I"m wondering if they wish they had tried to flip for seeding, rather than choosing to play Silsbee.  Of course, it's a good thing they aren't hitting their threes, or this would be a very different game right now.

Rudder holds for the last shot, and misses.  Silsbee leads 39-30 at the break!
