uh oh, another possible mistress has surfaced.

Ricossa was a beast!  He's gone from a good role player to a major part of the hawks' offense.  he controlled the glass, and scored about 20 while missing maybe 3 shots all game.  I can't even begin to start on how impressed i was with him tonight.

i'm hunting in east texas in avinger, a little town outside of jefferson.

Pitt isn't ranked right now, but i think this will be one of the signature wins for the horns by the end of the season when the committee starts looking at seeding the tourney.

Brown ends up with 12 points, and more importantly, only 1 turnover, which he's struggled with so far this year.

but they have the athletes to carry them when the offense isn't running well. they kind of remind me of memphis from a couple of years back.

we found our first scrape saturday.  i'm not sure why they're starting so late.  we went back sunday and it was much larger.  i had a borderline 8-point come out in front of me saturday morning, and actually had does come out to him.  he seemed much more interested in the corn on the ground than he did in chasing the does.

playing like a top-3 team right now :)  Brown has looked very good.  he's hit double figures in all four games he's played in so far.

Of course, as soon as i make this post, pitt immediately goes on an 11-0 run to take the lead :)

Texas looks REALLY good.  Their defense is absolutely wearing down a good Pitt team.  Tons of depth means that the horns are busting their butts all over the court, and rather than mostly relying on one great player, they've got a ton of great athletes making plays.  Right now Texas is leading 32-23 with 4 minutes left in the first half.

sounds like people have been seriously overestimating Kountze or seriously underestimating the hawks coming into this season...  great win for the hawks!
