Now Stallworth misses the front end of a 1 and 1.  Rudder hits a layup with an and-1 chance.  a freethrow cuts it to 5!

Tigers on an 0-fer from the line in the 2nd half.  not sure how many they've missed, but probably at least 6 or 7.  now going to the line again.

Hill with another and-1 opportunity.  that's an important basket, as Rudder had just cut the lead to 7.  Freethrow no good, Stallworth with the board though.

tigers missing a lot of shots.  they've done some things really well, but i think they're probably lucky they aren't playing a stronger team tonight.

Rudder had a shot rim out that would've cut it to six.  another solid quarter for the tigers.  i'm sure they're fine with breaking even during the 3rd quarter.  it's going to be a tough job for Rudder to try and outscore the Tigers by 10 in the 4th.

Josh should be all-district.  he's really solid.  i wish we could see how good he would've been had he been playing his whole life.  when you watch him, it's tough to believe he's only played a couple of years.

HUGE 2nd quarter for the Tigers!!!  It sounds like Rudder has done a pretty decent job holding their own, but they can't stop Silsbee from penetrating, and have not answer for their size down low.  I"m wondering if they wish they had tried to flip for seeding, rather than choosing to play Silsbee.  Of course, it's a good thing they aren't hitting their threes, or this would be a very different game right now.

Rudder holds for the last shot, and misses.  Silsbee leads 39-30 at the break!
