2.
If they're going to live with it then it's on them...it's not right imo but that's her choice
it's still against the law.
3. "Darling acknowledged that Dunn did indeed punch his client in the face one time after "she got up in his face arguing." he hit her, she just doesn't want to press charges, and neither does her dad.  why would they?  he's most likely playing in the NBA next season... so, what's the big deal if he breaks a jaw every now and then!
4.
This one sounds more innocent than some.
i've never punched a woman in the face...
5.
How in the world could you connect the Tea Party and racism ??? Having a little common sense in no way makes you a racist ;)
the tea party is nothing new.  it's a movement of the more active members of the GOP.  the whole thing was founded by republicans on the platform of lower taxes and smaller government, but it wasn't formed by everyday people, it was formed by conservative republicans.  i don't understand why people think it's so shocking that a lot of tea-partiers get labeled racist.  some of them are.  also, their ultra-conservative social agendas are going to keep many of them from making it into office.  people may be sick and tired of big government and overspending by the democrats, but that doesn't mean they're ready to burn homosexuals on the stake or ban abortion in the case of rape or incest.  this is one of the things the republicans/tea partiers better realize, or they aren't going to see nearly the gains they might be expecting.  i've been a liberal democrat for years, mostly based on social stances, but i honestly do want to see spending reforms made.  i wouldn't mind seeing some republicans take back over, but i don't want one who makes a comment such as "I don't want children to be brainwashed into thinking homosexuality is acceptable".  I don't want one who is ignorant enough to not see the value of the separation of church and state.  Republicans can't treat this is as another republican mandate.  Remember Newt Gingrich in 94?  He and other republicans mistook big gains in the house and senate as support for republican policy, when in fact it was simply voters wanting ANYTHING but democrats in office.  The GOP got so conservative with their policy, thinking they could do whatever they want, that they managed to take big losses in the 98 elections after scaring off the moderate and disenchanted democrats.  that WILL happen again if some of the tea-party wackos take support for their party as support for all of their wacked out conservative beliefs, and not just support for lower taxes and smaller government.    you're welcome.
6. the worst thing about this is that Neftali Feliz might be useless in the playoffs, after being the anchor of their bullpen.  i'll be curious to see where his confidence is after giving up the go-ahead run and then a HR tonight.
7. Crawford with a HR off of Feliz.  4-2.  The Rangers are probably toast now.  1 run is doable, 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th is a stretch.
8. Rangers lost the lead, down 3-2, going to the bottom of the 8th.  this is the first time in the series that they've been behind.  if they lose this one, i hope they don't lose their momentum.  until the 6th inning of this game, they'd given up 1 run in 23 innings.
9. Darren Oliver just lost the lead, 2-2, top of the 8th, 1 out, runner on 1st.
10. I switched from the bedroom to the living room to wait for a pizza, and the first pitch i saw in the living room was an Ian Kinsler homerun!  Rangers up 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th!
11. a great diving catch keeps the rangers from re-taking the lead.  1-1 going to the top of the 7th.  the only good thing about last inning was that the rangers finally got Garza's pitch count up a little.  he's been tough.
12. they got out of the inning tied 1-1.
13. BJ Upton just drove in a run with a double, 1-1, 6th inning.  Rays have runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.
14. Lewis gets out of a jam with a big strikeout, Rangers lead 1-0 after 5.
15. Colby lewis looking good!
16. Lamar has tied the school record for wins in a season with 4, but i expect a few more in conference this year... they've already beaten last years' SLC champion Southeastern Louisiana 1-0 on a goal with 44 seconds left, dropping SLU's record to 7-2-3.  They also beat Nicholl's St 3-0, dropping their record to 6-3-1.
17. The Lady Cards are 2-0 in conference, and 4-6-1 overall.  they really have been improving every year.
18.

Tampa really has very little offensive firepower.   After watching them, it is surprising that they were able to win the East.    Their pitching must be awesome.
I really think the RANGERS are just better than tampa bay right now.  tampa bay's offense ranks 3rd in runs scored (802) in the American League.  They are only behind the yankees (859) and the red sox. (818)  *The RANGERS are 4th with 787 runs scored.  tampa bay's pitching ranks 2nd in the American League with a team ERA of 3.78.  They trail only oakland, who has a team ERA of 3.56.  *The RANGERS rank 3rd in the American League with a 3.93.  In the first two games of the series the RANGERS offense have scored 11 runs to tampa's 1.  The RANGERS are just flat out, out hitting and out pitching the rays.  Now of course, this could all change but right now there is no doubt that the RANGERS are a better ball club than tampa bay.
I don't see how they scored all those runs.  They have a team batting average in the .240's.
they manufacture runs really well, and they have a TON of speed.
19. they have matched up really well against the yankees so far this season, who it looks like they'll play (assuming they get one more win against the rays), but they'd still have to go into yankee stadium and win playoff games, which is no easy task.
20. 3-R homer for Michael Young!  Rangers up 5-0!!!!
21.
Great job by Halladay! Beautifully pitched game. And I thought for some reason they switched every series to 7 games now? Maybe that's the NBA?
yeah.  i think you're right.  i know i was confused, probably because this is the first year that my team's been in the playoffs since 1999.
22.
Game 2:  C. J. Wilson vs James Shields It sure would be nice if this series goes to Arlington with the RANGERS up 2-0.
yup!
23. he could still pitch for 7 or 8 more years if he wanted.  he's got at least another 2-3 years in his prime, but even when he's out of his prime, he's going to be a top-20 pitcher in this league.
24.
nobody is giving the reds a chance, and looking at their lineup, i can understand that, but... this is the playoffs, and anything can happen.  i'll go out on a limb and say that the reds upset everyone's world series favorites in 5.
this prediction was predicated on the reds' ability to at least get 1 hit.
25. unbelievable... that was a tough play for the last out, too.  a 6-foot dribbler that the catcher had to go to two knees and get the ball away from the discarded bat before throwing down the line to beat a fast runner by a step.  that's a hell of a postseason debut!
