The 2012 version of Hardin County Havoc gets tipped off TONIGHT as the #1 state ranked Hardin-Jefferson Hawks come into Silsbee to take on the #7 state ranked Tigers in the Tiger Den to start 21-3A district play! Hardin-Jefferson (27-0) #1 in the SETXsports poll, come off a 60 point win over Legacy Tuesday night, 103-43, to stay undefeated on the season. Silsbee (14-6) #4 in this weeks Dirty Dozen poll, got a very good win on the road over a very good Navasota team, 85-75, to get them ready for district play. HJ and Silsbee are two of the top programs in this area and their games over the last several years have been considered the marquee games of Southeast Texas. Silsbee swept the series last year and has won 7 of the last 9 games between these two. Silsbee holds a 9-6 series advantage over the last 5 years since these two have been in 21-3A.


Our broadcast will start 10 minutes prior to tip off which is scheduled for 7:30pm. (time subject to change due to prior JV game)
Mike Sanchez (AAW) and Rob Lietzke (LAZEEK) will be bringing the LIVE play-by and color commentary.

Was told the doors will open at 5pm. JV game starts at 6pm with varsity scheduled for 7:30pm.

I would say that if you are not there by 6:15, you will be out of luck! But, you never know.

Just got off of the phone with AggiesAreWe and he estimates that there already about 500 folks standing outside the Tiger Den and the doors don't open for another 30 minutes.  Gym capacity is 1550.

If you are planning on attending, you might want to head out there right now.
