  1. China Spring 42 Melissa 41 My buddy was at the game and said China Spring extended a drive to take the lead with a soft PI call, then Melissa had an argument for PI on three straight plays that would’ve put them in field goal range that weren’t called. Melissa coach supposedly chased the refs off the field 😀
  2. Horns came to play. Sanderson is FAST!
  3. Maxpreps has this score reversed, with Kelly winning. Not sure who is correct
  4. I’m about as interested in a crow burger as I was this game. Just made a prediction in passing and it was incorrect. Congrats to woodville on a fantastic win.
  5. I don't know if I've ever seen a thread where a person was so distraught about their team WINNING against a top-10 program 🙄
  6. Political brilliance. It's hilarious watching DC claim their resources are stretched and they cant handle anymore after receiving a number less than 1% of the amount of illegal immigrants that Texas deals with on a yearly basis.
  7. shaping up to be a good year for the cards. 5-1 win over a team that had already notched two wins against conference opponents for the cards.
  8. I'll take Newton 32-13.
  9. 1. Katy 2. Allen 3. Baytown Goose Creek Memorial 4. La Porte 5. Port Arthur Memorial 6. Beaumont United 7. East Chambers 8. Silsbee 9. Houston St. Thomas 10. Coldspring-Oakhurst 11. Anahuac 12. Danbury 13. Bridge City 14. Shelbyville 15. Wallis Brazos 16. Newton 17 Orangefield 18. Buffalo 19. Groveton 20. Hull-Daisetta 21. Deweyville 22. Evadale 23. Arp 24. Beckville 25. Houston St. Pius
  10. I'm familiar with small school ball, and i'm really not trying to get in a big debate over this. The point I'm making, which I'm sure you understand, is that out of those 25 kids in the program there are going to be handful of kids who have no business on the field against opposing varsity-level opponents. Having a JV for a few weeks at least gets them a little game experience, because in another year they may grow/improve enough to where they can actually contribute on a varsity level, OR due to injuries/grades they may be forced onto the field this year. If that happens, I'd rather them have played 3 jv games than watched 7 varsity games.
  11. And it's been ten years and school lunches are still awful, and the kids still hate them.
  12. It's a place that people are from. It some circles it might be considered derogatory to say someone is from there?
  13. Just kind of depends. At that level your studs are going both ways, every snap if possible. You might have a handful of kids subbing in. But those 5'5" 130 lb freshmen aren't seeing the field unless there's a catastrophe.
  14. Any clue why Longview is #1 in 5A-D1? They had a good year last year, but going 9-4 and three rounds deep in the playoffs is usually not even good enough to start in the top ten the next year, much less at #1.
  15. #2, #3, and #4 all lost. Crosby got hammered, College Station got hammered, and Aledo lost a close one. To be fair, they all played great teams, but still.
  16. The only thing I can think is when you only have 25 total players in the program, you need to get the young kids all the playing time you can get. There's no way they'll be able to sustain a JV team for more than a few more weeks. They'll inevitably lose a couple of players to injury and a couple to grades, and there won't be any option. All remaining 18-20 players will be on varsity.
  17. If you can provide proof that you are the other poster's dad, step-dad, or mom's boyfriend then no action will be taken 😁
  18. Should be a good game. Always a heated rivalry between these two.
  19. Anahuac is salty. I’ll say they win by 4 scores.
  20. Bumping this for those who might’ve missed it.
  21. Like I said, some of it is suspicious. But a lot of their supposed victims’ connections have been greatly exaggerated or even made up, and other’s causes of deaths have been inarguably proven. Suicide is pretty common in the high pressure world of politics as well, especially when you’re about to get busted for something. And again, there’s the main point I made earlier: over the years the Clintons have had literally thousands of interns, associates, partners, and advisors. They’ve been in politics for over 40 years. I would bet serious money that you could connect a similar number of deaths to any other high profile politician who’d been active for 40 years. Especially if you’re willing to fudge a few facts to make it look like a lot of the dead people had a closer connection to them than they actually did.
  22. Got this pickem wrong, but thought it was a tossup. Boy was I wrong. Not sure if Diboll lost a lot, Madisonville gained a lot, or some combination of the two.
  23. I’m not arguing that there aren’t some suspicious deaths around the Clintons. I’ll even concede that there’s a possibility they, or the govt is behind a few of them. That said, I could make a list of people I personally have known that have been murdered, died in car crashes, died in plane crashes, committed suicide, had heart attacks, died during surgery, etc. that could rival the list conspiracy theorists throw out there when accusing the Clintons of killing off half of Washington. And I don’t know, and have not been associated with, nearly the number of people they have. it’s important to keep in mind that at some point literally every person who’s ever come in contact with the Clintons will die of one cause or another. They’re now in their 70s, as are many of their associates. Those associates are at an age where unexpected deaths are actually expected. Anyway, carry on!
