    I agree. Depending on october 17th you might be able to flipflop crosby & dayton.

    I think Dayton is going to struggle with Kingwood Park before they even make it down 90. The defensive numbers Humble was able to put up against Dayton in Dayton makes me very optimistic of what Crosby's defense will be able to do to Dayton in Crosby. I think losing Rhone makes Dayton a little easier to defend also. They're dead last in total team defense while Crosby is #1, and on pace to throw more ints. than last year which will give us extra possessions. I'll wait to see how both teams play against KP but I'm beginning to think this one might not be that tight.

    The winners of 23/24 will run the winners of 21/22 out of the playoffs.  Both divisions......

    On the D1 side you're probably right. Foster, George Ranch, Elkins and Ridge Point will all play D1 from those districts though unless Bush makes the playoffs and sends Ridge Point down to D2.

    The probably D2 reps from those districts are Texas City who's 1-3 and lost to Dickinson by 50, FB Marshall who lost to Foster by 30 and was just shut out by Ridge Point, Rosenberg Terry who just lost to Coldspring and Angleton who Crosby beat by 23 at their own house. There's also Huntsville and Brenham who will come from the northern districts but neither of those teams looks impressive at all. D2 is there for the taking this year.

    I would say the D1 region 3 winner is probably the favorite to win state, and the D2 winner will probably lose to Aledo in the title game.

    The individual stats are off for a bunch of kids but the team totals should be correct. King is averaging 61 ppg and just shy of 600 ypg. Tray Williams already has over 1000 yards rushing at the midway point for most teams in the district. Crosby is making a statement with 21-5A's #1 ranking in team total defense giving up just over 200 ypg and 12.4 ppg. It's going to be an interesting finish.

    KP has a little bit better offense than Humble even though they lost to them and I think they'll be a harder matchup for the Broncos. Not saying it's a must win for Dayton but basically it's a must win. If Dayton doesn't start fast they way they did against BH Humble will probably pound the clock out with Brown. I'll be much more interested in this one vs Crosby's homecoming against GP.

    I have to come all the Way from Nacogdoches to see that Butt whoopin at Crenshaw

    Well, the Twins didn't play defense and the last two years combined King has only scored 7 offensive points on Crosby and that was in garbage time after the Cougars already put up 56. King won't be able to throw it against our secondary and we'll shut down Tray Williams just like he was last year. Crosby isn't going to try to beat you with the bubble screen and fly sweep, they're going to line up and mash it down your throat the way we always do. Look at it on the bright side though, you'll be well prepared for whoever you get to crop dust in bi-district the next week.

    There you go again April. Two post from now you'll be transposing words and saying I'm putting you down for some reason. Just leave it alone man because obviously you can't stand the heat so don't strike the arc.

    Funny how you can get stats from junior high games when the officials can't even get the score right. Wealth of knowledge here I tell ya.

    I didn't know addition could be so funny, it's amazing what a pencil and paper can still do. I know what my son's numbers are to the decimal and if the rb was my son I would be able to tell you exactly what his were too. I just happen to know close to what his numbers are because I care to keep track for one, and two so I can tell his mom how good he is. If you ever have a kid that's decent at anything you might want to keep track too, they'll thank you for it later.

    inconsistency has been a problem. Turnovers have also killed dayton. Last year KP won by 7 I believe with 2 pick 6's. Humbe won on a fumbled qb sneak that was returned 100 yds for a td. The humble turnover was the killer because dayton was about to take the lead with very little time left. I do think dayton wins this game Friday and will let you know why Thursday. When does Dayton and Crosby 8th grade play and were is it being played.

    They play on November 11th in Crosby. Might be for the district title if we can beat Gentry. The little Cubs are 2-0 and rolling. Their back has over 500 yards already on about 20 carries which means we have another stud to go with Williams in the backfield in a couple of years.

    The only way y'all will be district champs is if a miracle happens. Y'all will be lucky to finish 3rd behind CEK and dayton. With kp or humble finishing 4th.

    I heard the same thing last year before you went out and mustered 10 points on Humble's defense for a 13 point loss. That's after you lost to KP who's also on the schedule before Crosby. Crosby and King are basically in already, if I was you I would be making sure Humble and KP aren't in too. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity, and we've been prepared for 18 of the last 19 opponents we've faced in the regular season. The miracle would be if Dayton finished higher than third with their continued inconsistency.

    I watched NS on tv play #3 Trinity pretty tough, just made a couple un-North Shore-like mistakes and lost by a TD to who I think is one of the 4 best teams in the state. North Shore will roll Westbrook and probably not lose until they play Lamar,Cy-Fair or Pearland in the 3rd or 4th round. They'll just out-athlete everybody on their schedule until the kids adjust to the new staff. There's nothing like Manvel, Westfield or Trinity on the schedule for a while so expect the Stangs to run off 9 or 10 straight.

      Ok so.. you go back in THIS thread and see what I responded to. cougar44 said"BEFORE the king game y'all were talking mess and saying its going to be a cakewalk"  When in fact.. YOU were the one who said Crosby would be district champs. blah blah blah.. THEN I said.."Most everyone knows.. Dayton is like a box of chocolates.. Ya never know what your gonna get"... Oh and in no way is it because of your popularity..or lack of.... You are the delirious one. follow along next time... 

    First of all there's a difference between popularity and polarity, maybe you decoder doesn't go to the P's though? I still say Crosby will be district champs too, I said that before the season even started and nothing has changed my mind. What does me saying that have to do with anything pertaining to your response though? Coug44 said Dayton fans were talking trash before the game, but you proceeded to get smashed. Now after you beat BH Humble better watch out? I think following along with you would require me to lose IQ points so I'll just pass on that one.
