Whats Hurts story? Any looks?

He's the #2 pro-style qb in the state for his class which is what Morse would be categorized as. Offers from Miss St. and Houston so far. He'll have 15 by April though. Lots of qbs around the state are putting up sick numbers, for a kid like Adam he'll probably need to use his arm talent to seperate himself at camps this Spring to get offers.

The freshman rb is on varsity and the would be jv qb is also varsity playing qb and receiver. Last year's freshman stud Taylor Perry is still on varsity also. The majority of the kids that will start on varsity next year are already there and their record is 6-0. Most of the stud athletes never play jv.

Crosby will always be 3rd best to Dayton and Barbies Hill. Every once in a while they have an ok year. They just suck the rest of the time.

This is going to be Crosby's 10th straight year in the playoffs. BH has to go back to their 3a days to talk about a playoff streak. I know you can't see past that Thursday night in Beaumont three years ago though. Crosby usually waits until the playoffs to suck, Vidor sucks in general as you can see fron their 1 bi-district win since 1964 or better yet your 2 all-time. Just get ready for baseball season man.

That's not a drum Tex. That's a freight train you hear and there's a horse on the tracks. This staff is going to start doing Dayton like Stew's staffs used t ok do ours. Get used to it, and there's plenty for them to work with coming through the program.

Have to agree with April. My upset of the week is Crosby over Dayton. If this game had a spread I think it would be Crosby(+21) vs Dayton's history.

The Wildcats are still alive with the win. The loss to New Caney kept the Eagles alive but put a major dent in Humble's chances. The Cats have already beaten KP so if they can beat BH and Galena Park they'll get in the dance for the first time in this district.

Looks like Terio Brown did his thing again to the tune of 15 carries for 193 yards and 2 tds. He's only a sophomore so he's not on many radars yet but I'm telling you he will be shortly. Kid is better than Tray Williams was last year. We'll get to see who does what when they go head to head this week.

If the weather if good I think this could be the biggest crowd to see a game at Cougar Stadium in a while. I think they left the extra bleachers there from homecoming but it still might be standing room only if it doesn't rain. Dayton had to flip the sticky note over and use the plays on the back side so the Crosby staff shouldn't be surprised by anything they see while the Cougars have had two weeks to prepare for all 5 plays. This is Dayton's worse defense in years while Crosby boasts the district's best unit on that side of the ball. I think Crosby dominates the line of scrimmage and pounds if down Dayton's throat for the win.

That's not a knock on Ned at all. It's more of a slight towards your whole district that a team with average personnel can own your district on coaching alone. Other than possibly KP or BH, I don't see any of our playoff reps losing in the first round. We'll be at minimum 9-3 vs the east side of the Trinity over the last three years in bi-district play.

My Two, did you not realized you sucked this year or were you being sarcastic about GCM not making the playoffs? Serious question. After struggling with 0-6 Lee that lost to GCM by 34, do you really feel you can beat them without the usual help from the refs?

While you're sitting at home in your usual spot when the playoffs start you'll at least be able to crack open a Natural Ice Lite and reflect over the time you beat Crosby in 2011. I think 6 of the 8 bi-district teams are pretty much figured out. Crosby, Dayton, King from district 21 and Central, Ned, PNG from district 22.

I think KP beats BH on the last day of the season to get in and GCM gets in over Vidor and Ozen. These schools would push Crosby and PNG to D2 for sure. That would leave potential matchups of Crosby/Dayton vs Ned/PNG and King/KP vs Central/GCM. Not sure 22-5a would be favored in any of those?

Crosby and Dayton's district rankings through 6/7 games. The individual numbers aren't accurate but the team stats look to be. Just adding a little substance to people's predictions.

The official name is Cougar Stadium, the Jungle is the nickname. It says it somewhere in the stadium or on some sign. It needs some kind of nickname seeing as how Crosby has only lost there once in the last three years.

GRHS posted a very impressive victory over a state ranked Foster team 41 - 17.  4 minutes into the game it was Foster 14 GRHS 0.  Amazing come back.  GRHS piled up over 400 yards of offense on a supposed top defensive team.  Still can't believe how providence guided me to this school. The BELIEVE theme is taking root on the banks of the Brazos.

Looks like it will be Elkins vs Foster and GR vs Ridge Point in the first round. Pretty ridiculous. With Central losing tonight and King not being as convincing it looks like Temple is the only squad standing in the way of GR and Elkins playing for the region in D1.

Gonna be a fun week. Hope both teams come into the game as healthy as possible and stay that way. I suck at score predictions, but i'd bet that there at least 3 posts about crosby's parking situation and another 3 about their visitor stands.... not counting this one.

You'll be pleased to know they've pulled the stadium renovations forward so the home side will be the visitor side for the 2016 season. This should be the last time Dayton fans have to complain about the parking or mud, not that it should matter anyway with the long wheel base 4x4's that are so popular over there.

You're right. I have to stop being sucked in by Vidor fans and just ignore them, that game was three years ago. My fault for even responding to that garbage.

Oh they took them seriously just couldn't stop them if they wanted to. They ran them over and out of the stadium.

I doubt it, my cousin even told me they were surprised by Vidor. Crosby had already beaten PNG that year who worked Vidor. Just too many turnovers and penalties for our young team against the best team Vidor probably ever had. Crosby stopped themselves and gave Vidor extra opportunities, Vidor had nothing to do with it.

Just make sure you don't put the camera down if Crosby starts rolling. You've been on point the last couple of weeks from what I've seen, I wouldn't want that to change just because you have a cat behind you taking a bite out of that arse.

No need for the statistical breakdown, no need to be reminded what the records are, no need to bring up who said what before the beginning of the season. Dayton has a chance to give Crosby their first loss of the season and move into second place in the district. There will be an "official crow thread" going up after this one so go ahead and call your shot.

Keep thinking that Cougar14 you know good and well previous games mean nothing when Dayton and Crosby play each other.

Crosby's entire staff got to watch Dayton struggle tonight. I would be willing to bet you're going to see more of the same except with better personnel. Crosby is coming off a bye and is a lot healthier than they were against KP while Keener, Chambers and McBride just played a tight one both ways. You're sadly mistaken if you think Dayton can do anything on defense to stop Crosby other than Crosby turning it over. The Broncos are soft and can't tackle and we have a staff that will exploit that.

Like I tell My Two all the time, Vidor will be bringing that bi-district win up for the next 5 years because it will be the only one they have. They're the only team to beat Crosby in the first round the last 6 years so beat you chest about that. Vidor still sucks though man.

Ned has already lost to both teams they've played from over here. I know they get better during the season but so do we. PNG better be the real deal or 22-5a could get swept. Ned beat Central with inferior personnel but a better coach, I'm not sure that would be the case for any of our playoff teams especially if it's Crosby. Dayton, King and KP that get in.

Once again King plays a decent defense and is held to under 400 total yards. King's running game was completely shut down but they couldn't defend the pass it looks like.
