Actually a very large misconception is soccer players make good kickers. Most kickers have played soccer but the teqnique is completely different. Being an excellent soccer player doesnt automatically make you a good fieldgoal kicker and vice versa. In soccer, you want your knee over the ball to keep the ball down while kicking a football you want your knee behind the ball to create lift. When you are trained one way for so long, its hard to reverse your muscle memory for the other. Just saying.lol

All that I said was that I saw the Coach at Chester was mowing yesterday.  Didn't know that it was an opportunity to pile on a place for being less developed.  
 
Chester/Colmesneil/Woodville/Warren may not have the nicest restaurants or all of the amenities of a "big city" but we don't have corruption in our schools (BISD), we don't have teachers engaged in inappropriate acts with students (BH), we don't have teachers hitting students (PA), etc.

Harvard won national championships in football also. Harvard has tradition. The Army-Navy game has tradition. In fact, HD's accomplishments occurred during the same era of Army-Navy bearing some significance. I have traditionally wanted to play against HD because they traditionally look slow on film.

And I will be there every step of the way. I commit to the SETX community that I will never miss an opportunity to pile HD nation, Liberty, Colmesneil or any other unrealistic fan bases in SETX. I am firmly committed to keeping it real.

Ok, it goes with being a 1A or 2A coach everywhere but the one extremely wealthy place you are referencing.

Deweyville hired East Chambers assistant Lance Dale as new head football coach/AD. Dale was head coach at Kountze for 1 season in 2011.

I know a certain two way all-district returning letterman who is very happy with the selection.

I saw EC in the playoffs last yr...dville looked a lot tougher than them. And how has kirbyville been since jack left? Mediocre
