Now they all live in bh
I thought they said that happened in Crosby and Baytown...and now live in the Mound
Nah, we ran out of last names years ago at 4.  We dug a river (A.K.A. houston ship channel) to keep Santa Anna south, but that didn't work for long.  Some fool in Baytown dropped a big pipe in the river, as did Channelview, now we got 6 names.  Then along comes some idiot president and builds a road from California to Florida, like that was a good idea, and now we got Hakeem Alajuwan buying property all around BH schools.  One day we are rice farmers and soy bean farmers, the next we have houses being built with rice field rows in the front yards.  Now we have a Baytown Seafood going in, adding yet another name.  So, that being said we now have 7 names.  Then, with a streak of luck, the stork dropped in a football goo-roo, making 8 names.  ;D ;D Barber Barrow Fisher Winfrey Gonzales Guerro Wang  Smoking Baby
We stopped and ate at your Cracker Barrell the other day and if your local street walkers dont stop getting the back door discount at your local motels your going to start seeing alot of "Ahkmid Ali's" running around.
I realize Kirbyville has yet to experience the thrill of GPS navigation, however your nearest walmart does sell a road atlas.  Buy one, open it up, and you will find that you were in Baytown.  If the atlas has too many pages for a Kirbyville rsident, stop by a local library and ask the 80 yr old librarian to run a Google Directions Search for you to the "Mont Belvieu Cracker Barrell".  Take lots of fuel......your going to be driving for a while.  ;D ;D ;D
You have to be a comedian.  You kill me!

too bad the bh coaches couldnt outcoach a bunch of ardvarks(sp)....good luck coach nelson/staff and team the pear is behind you
The aardvark comment earlier last week was a compliment.  an aardvark is an anteater and of course you  know, Barbers Hill mascot is an ant mound.
And aardvarks are cute.  Thanks to the picture, my 5-year-old son wants one for Christmas.
 3.
It did say he was the Strenth and Conditioning coach for the Cowgirls back in the early 90's. Maybe he is hiding out at the White House in Dallas with Micheal Irvin?
I believe it said 1995.  That would be the year they had Deion Sanders.  Wow, I'd sure be proud to admit I contributed to his muscles. LOL
 4. You make no sense, really.  Vidor would match up better against BH because their style of play is similar.  BUT, Crosby has speed.  BUT, they had trouble against Vidor because of their style of play.  So by that reasoning, Ozen should have had the same issues against BH. Whatever it takes to help you come to terms with it.  Whatever helps.
 5. Are wins and losses really the only thing that matters for a high school football coach?  Really?  That is sad and pathetic.  I'd prefer a coach with a consistent losing record that can teach my son hard work, determination, sportsmanship, and help him grow into a man than a coach with a winning record who does little to none of those things. Winning is NOT everything.  Kids need to learn that not everything in life is going to go their way all of the time.  They are still just kids. Coaches in high school are teachers too.  I'd hate for my daughter's 2nd grade teacher to get fired because some of the kids are struggling a bit with their handwriting.  It's basically the same thing!
 6. Mr. Barnes seems to have had a 'roid rage and disappeared.  Coward.
 7.
You need to contact one or both of these people at Lamar and I doubt with their scheules they are available for a HS game. Video Coordinator Clint Burges or Production Coordinator Brianna Meadows but again they may show your video guys some things about how to work the equipment but they aren't going to be there for a whole HS football game as they are already working overtime with Lamar volleyball, MBB, WBB and football going right now.
Yeah, because Lamar sports are soooooo exciting!  *sarcasm*
 8. I agree.  No need to throw the football when what you're doing isn't being stopped.  I'm just saying, I believe Vidor could throw the ball if it came down to it.
 9. With that kicker's foot, it sure does make it easier on the offense, especially in high school.  I'll pick Dayton.
 10.

Somewhere in all the smoke blowing and general BS, seems as though some of the thin skinned folk, seem to think someone questioned the "heart" of the Vidor Boys. Not sure where that came from but whatever, I guess you must really think your boys are the only team in the Region with "heart". Well I got news for you, Vidor doesn't hold sole posession of "heart" in this equation. But it takes more than just heart, heart will only take you so far. Been watching to many "Rudy" re-runs there Sparky. We'll see who has what it takes come next Friday. Prove me wrong, please do, and I will be the first to admit it. And a few pages back someone asked who I am....well partner, I'm the guy that is easiest in the world to find, because i don't hide on a keyboard behind some fake name, use your google skills amigo, I'm easy to find out about. My youngest is a Senior on this team, and I work with most of these boys very closely, on and off the field. I played the game for many years at all levels, and have the knee surgeries to go along with it. I love the game, and the kids that come out to play it. I teach them to play the game hard, safe, and clean. May the best team win, because no matter the excuses, the best team wins on any given night. Turnovers, injuries, brain farts, whatever, it's all inclusive and reflected on the scoreboard when the clock runs out. Good Luck come Friday......
Trying to relive your glory days vicariously through high school boys? Ahh you probably never even played football. Let me guess, tuba? bass drum maybe? Either way, they better be ready to get their clock cleaned friday. Vidor hits hard...
ha..... he played in the NFL dude.... and also at A&M pre wrecking crew days. edit: coached in the NFL..... had to look it up. had been a while since i had seen it.
Yeah, coached in the showers...
 11. Vidor is more about SMART football.  Whatever is needed at the time is what is done.  The coaches prepare and teach the kids well.  And the kids, they execute.  Whatever is needed.
 12. Too slow.  One-dimensional. Alright.  We shall see on Friday. :)
 13. Let's not forget that run blocking is brutal on the body and all Vidor does is run.  These kids on the offensive line are amazing!
 14. In Mississippi, there is a place called Backyard Burger that is pretty good.
 15.
Chicken Fried!!! >:(
With cream gravy?  Might not be too bad.
 16.
Ned plays at 1 so I assume it would be after that one.
If you go to the Ned game, I wonder if you can just stay in the stands and get a 2 for 1?  ;D
 17. 15-year-olds....when you put it like that, gosh, they are SO young.  Just think what a few years will do.
 18. I just want to know which one of you led the police on a chase that almost ended in a shootout right in front of my house?  ;D  It was literally within 15 minutes of the game ending.
 19. Looks like it was a clean game too, for both sides.  A very nice thing to see.
All you people who brought your brooms, be sure and sweep up before you leave
LOL - For sure, so Butch doesn't pay someone a million bucks to do the cleaning.
