Vidor has a pretty decent defense too.  Keep going with the excuses... Never seen anyone make excuses BEFORE a loss.

It seems very unlikely he resigned because he wanted to do so and not because of the threat of being fired.  Unless he had finally had enough of the Crosby School Board.

Regardless of whether this "Tyrone Biggums" poster is actually Caucasian, you said that he would not want to drive around Vidor.  What did you mean by that if discrimination was not the intent? And you rarely talk about yourself?  Every post I've read from you has something about how you are "in the know" at the very least.  Must be terrible to be that important and busy.

[/quote] You want an honest answer to that?  Wins are important to schools still in the mix ,  if you didnt make plays offs or lost last week then " wins arent everything" [/quote] My school (Vidor) is still in and they have had their share of losses over the years.  But, if Coach Mathews was 0-10 for 10 years, I'd still rather him coach and mentor my son than anyone else.

If it hasn't been stopped thus far, why try something else? And just because a person hasn't seen a Vidor passing game, does not mean one does not exist.  It just hasn't been necessary.

[/quote] We will see.  As I said on other threads, I'm no blind homer predicting Vidor to win state or anything.  But, they are a good group of kids and they have good coaching.  Anything is possible and I believe in them.  They have a very real chance to win this game.
