TD hit a home run. So why not stick with that format?

Not a fork tongue to want to know where the tax dollars go.

The fork tongue is when people try to hide where the money goes......

TD has Austin Area and basically whole state locked down, DC has the whole Houston area locked down, and KB has college and state connections as well. I say NISD is blessed right now…. We aren’t just looking for a HC but a AD to oversee all athletics. Time and time again. Nederland is at its best when kids play multi sports!!

Does Nederland not emphasize this?  You’ve already called out English, but don’t mention other sports getting kids to sign contracts that they won’t miss practice for other sports.  It’s seems like you would get better talent working together, instead of making kids sign a contract that they won’t miss track practice for a baseball game.

Broken culture. Gotta get all athletic teams on the same page and same period of the day….

I like the big back idea…problem with pollard is they overpaid him…he’s a FA but will likely want and get more than he’s worth and we should pay…for that reason, I’d let him walk.

overshown helps, but he’s undersized as well…they need some big, nasty run stuffers at LB and on the interior of that DL big time…they unfortunately need more of those than I think they can solve for in one year, but if McCarthy is truly going to autopsy the losses, that has to be a glaring hole…run defense

What’s up with this kids who can’t speak English statement, YOU KEEP ending your last two posts with this statement.  Ever tried learning their language.  Maybe you should you wouldn’t be up set about it.  No one is asking for a miracle overnight, as for skill positions running track, why, that coach needs to go to if you ask me, he will not let them participate in individual events.  I can go on but, anyway, let’s wait to she what changes will happen!! Oh and camp fun needs some changes too, but that will come with new staff I guarantee that will definitely change.

Camp fun is soft now compared to what it used to be.

It is also nice to have multiple athletes 6'-3"+, 280+ to shore up the trenches..... I haven't seen many of those walking around NHS

They are there, they choose to walk the halls or 6’3 205 pound kid that has to workout on his own because coaches won’t stay after school to open up the locker room/ set up a workout plan, so they have to do things on their own… instead of working out getting bigger stronger under guidance of the coaches and the coaches helping and guiding kids to let’s gain some healthy weight let’s try to eat these things and stay away from these things. But there’s no D. Spell in the building anymore to help out with that.

I’ll do you one better. Here are the qbs that I wouldn’t take over Dak.

    1. Zach Wilson (but only because Rogers got hurt).

    2. Bryce Young

    3. Bailey Zappe

    4. Sam Howell

Anybody else in the league with our current lineup is still playing next weekend.

Piling up regular season stats doesn’t  mean a thing when you lose games when it matters.  If it’s a stat contest, Marino, Romo, and Dak are the greatest qbs of the Super Bowl era.

So not the 4 you said but Geno Smith/ Carr/ Russell Wilson/ Daniel Jones/ Kenny Pickett/ Desmond Ridder/ Gardner Minshew/ Ryan Tannehill/ Aidan O’Connell/ Justin Fields/ Joe Flacco/ Jalen Hurts/ Kirk Cousins would still be playing next weekend with our lineup? Interesting. And that’s just off the top of my head

Arguably so Chargers have a very talented Roster and look where that has got them…

My mistake.. Franklin (Slot-T team) made the finals this year.. after winning two consecutive.  And Bellville (Slot-T team) made the state finals.. after running through the "best" that SeTx had to offer.

My mistake.  They only made the finals running the Slot-T.  That's terrible.

The “Best that SeTx” had to offer was PNG and they won a state championship…

NHS409 is speaking facts. Whoever takes the Nederland job has to rebuild the program from the ground up, that will take a few years to get back to competing for district titles & making decent playoff runs.

The district Ned gets put in will be a factor also

Whoever takes the Nederland will be setting their own ways and culture that’s what happens when a Head Coach takes over… PNG in 2008 2-7 Faircloth comes in set his culture rebuild in year 1 in 2009 11-1… Peevey at LCM year before he got there 1-7  when Peevey arrived 11-3…

there’s a lot of talent walking them halls and lot of kids specializing in only 1 sport, gotta get those kids back into the program and play multiple sports. Coaching staff got very stale and ran its course. Gotta stop the family and friends and hiring and start the hiring best qualified coach which I’m hoping NISD has learned its lesson on that one…. Starts at the top and they are making a change a step imo in the right direction.

Nederland is down down, they can't and will not win in the trenches. The D-line will be better than the O-line but that's not saying much AT ALL!! Until they get some lineman Nederland will be average at best!! I feel bad for the running backs, I hear Mosley is doing some things to keep the running back for Nederland which seems a lil fishy but hey you have to do what you have to do to keep the best athlete on the team I guess. I just don't see Nederland getting to PNG's caliber no time soon. The demographics has changed tremendously at Nederland. A huge influx of mexican students have stormed in, plenty who can barely speak english, and don't play football. If they do anything, it's soccer. Nederland has definitely changed and not for the better!!

Farthest thing from the truth. I bet you are the life of the party aren’t ya?

    Parcells 2.0

Three problems, as far as I can see... the 'boys are incapable of playing good football four weeks in a row-and they have been for years.  They seem to lay an egg every third or fourth game, except the playoffs are three to four games.  All it takes is coming out flat in the first half of a playoff game and you can call it a year.

I don't think Dak is that dude.  Heck of a nice guy, but I'm terrified when the game is on the line and Dak is under center... and he is, too.  You don't want look across the field and see Aaron Rogers, Mahomes, Brady, etc under center if you've got a one score lead and two minutes on the clock... they're about to score on you.  On the other hand, if the Cowboys have a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter and Dak has the blank, unblinking stare at the grass.... he's about to choke it away.  You know that look.

The Cowboys haven't taken a qb in the first round since '89.  That guy is in the HOF, and we haven't won anything since he retired.  Coincidence?  I think not.  There are literally 28 or 29 teams in the NFL with a better starting qb than DP... Tony Romo was stat monster, too.... except when it mattered.  Dak is no different.

I'm not sure that MM is the guy at head coach, either.  Dan Quinn didn't look like a defensive genius Sunday, either.  It could be that the Packers are a young team on the way to the pinnacle... and the cowboys just aren't capable of getting there in this current period.  I can't even begin to think about the Cowboys extending Dak.  It's like canceling your gym membership and admitting your just gonna be fat.

Please list the 28 or 29 QBs better than Dak. Just curious on this list
